V. Swaminathan - CEO

Swaminathan has been responsible for large business operations across multiple geographies which include India, Sri Lanka, Philippines, S.Korea, Nepal etc. He has extensive experience in online business, affiliate marketing, network management and new project rollouts. He has sucessfully pitched for and managed sensitive Government outsourcing initiatives for American, Australian, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Indian Government.

Swaminathan is the Chief Executive Officer for Via and responsible for all business operations globally.

Akash Gupta - Global CFO

Akash has over 15 years of varied and exhaustive experience banking, investment banking, financial planning and analysis. He has held many leadership positions across institutions like Barclays Capital, Credit Suisse, Net2Phone. Prior to joining Via, Akash was VICE President, Investment Banking at Barclays Capital.

Akash did his MBA from Columbia Business School.

Tonney Sharma - Head of Customer Experience

Tonney has an illustrious career in quality having worked with organizations like Anand Automotive Systems, Bharti Airtel Ltd. and Ispat. Prior to joining Via he was the DGM business excellence & engineering with GPI Textiles Limited in Himachal Pradesh. He has 17 years of varied and exhaustive experience in the areas of Quality and improvement initiatives (Six Sigma & TPM) in diverse industries.

Tonney Sharma did his schooling at St. Edwards School Shimla & also has Bachelors in Industrial Engineering from Mumbai University.

Umang Saxena - Head Strategy and New Initiatives

Umang has had an illustrious career in retail banking with Axis Bank. He has 15 years of varied and exhaustive experience in all the areas of retail banking like retail assets, liabilities and customer management. He has held many leadership positions in Axis Bank Retail and was instrumental in starting many verticals there. He was the core member of the highly rated and successful retail strategy team at Axis for 10 years. He has also been an ERP consultant in Oracle Financials.

Umang did his schooling from St. Edwards School, Shimla & has a Masters in Business Management from Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA).

Yogesh Mehta - Head Hotels

A young, vibrant and an enterprising leader with expertise in selling travel products over the last 5 years. Yogesh believes in constantly refining and executing processes, and utilizing the organization's resources optimally to achieve maximum growth. Yogesh has an in-depth knowledge in all the verticals of travel industry and its integration with ecommerce . With all these positive attributes and with an effective communication as an add-on he is on his path for paving successful horizons to fetch laurels anywhere he goes.

Manish Raj - Vice President Corporate Sales

With a Post Graduate in Marketing Management and a graduate in Hotel Management, Manish started his career in 1998 and has worked on various levels in Hotel operations and sales. He has been associated with ITC Grand Kakatiya; CCIL, Hyderabad; Orange County Resorts, Coorg; under different roles. He has also worked as Director of Sales with Golden Palms Hotel & Spa, Bangalore; Director of Sales with VCI Hospitality Ltd, Mumbai and as Assoc. Vice President of Sales & Marketing with Best Western India. His last position prior to joining VIA was as Vice President of Marketing with VCIHOTELS.

Manish is a post graduate from St. Joseph's College of Business Administration, Bangalore and holds a graduate degree in Hotel Management from Mangalore University. He brings with him 14 years plus Sales and operation experience in Hotel and Travel Industry.

Ramesh Samineni - Country Manager Philippines

A graduate in commerce and accounting, Ramesh brings with him 14 years of rich experience in travel industry in India and Oman. He is proficient in mapping business requirements with proven ability in designing & implementing systems & procedures to achieve cost control & financial discipline and enhance the overall efficiency of the organization. Before joining Via, he worked with Akbar Travels, Shanfari Travels (Muscat), Mercury Travels & ETI Travel & Technologies (presently BCD) in various capacities.

He has been entrusted to run Via Philippines as Country Manager. He was instrumental in setting-up the 1st overseas operations for Via also in scaling-up the volumes in a short span of 6 months.

Divya Mohan - Chief Business Officer

Divya is an airline professional having worked in Indian Airline/Air India for 20years in Commercial department in Southern & Eastern Region including a short posting at Sharjah. Her last assignment was as Dy. General Manager Sales & Marketing and Vice President Ground Handling & Cargo AISATS, a joint Venture company of Air India and SATS of Singapore. Before joining Indian Airlines she had short stints at TNT Skypak and ANZ Grindlays Bank.

Divya holds MBA Degree with specialization in Marketing and a diploma in Aviation Law and Airport Management from NALSAR,Hyderabad. She is currently pursuing MBL from National Law School, Bangalore.

Sanjay Gupta - Head Channel & Distribution

Sanjay has had 28 years of varied and exhaustive experience in areas like Retail & Corporate Banking. During his career in banking, He has worked with organizations like ICICI Bank, Axis Bank (then UTI Bank) and State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur. Prior to joining via, he was Regional Head-Retail at Jaipur in Rajasthan.He has had multiple international assignments & was posted in Moscow .He was Head of Retail Liabilities and Infrastructure Development in ICICI Bank Eurasia LLC.

Sanjay did his schooling in various cities of north India. He is a commerce graduate from Rajasthan University.

Varun Gupta - CTO

Varun Gupta is a technology professional with 9 years of experience and extensive knowledge of both backend and frontend technologies. Varun started his career with an enterprise solutions company called Trilogy, where he worked on the retail websites of automotive giants like Ford and Daimler Chrysler. After working there for 2 years, Varun joined Via as part of the initial core Technology team and worked for about an year before starting LifeMojo, an e-commerce platform for wellness products and services. After a period of 3.5 years, Varun rejoined Via as CTO.

Varun is a B.Tech in Computer Science from NSIT, Delhi.

Himanshu Khurana - Head Engineering

Himanshu Khurana is a technology professional with 10 years of experience in Technology & Product Development. Himanshu started his career with an enterprise solutions company called Trilogy in Bangalore and then joined a mobile payment startup called NGPay as a founding team member. Before joining Via, Himanshu co-founded a startup called LifeMojo.com which is an e-commerce platform for wellness products and services.

Himanshu is a B.Tech in Computer Science from NSIT, Delhi.

Saghan Aggarwal - Head-Holidays

Saghan is an engineer, MBA with over significant experience working in reputed organisations like Aricent, CDOT. He has lead product management, marketing and engineering groups and lead several market leading initiatives in wireless software. He cofounded TravelmastiN which subsequently was acquired by Via.

Manan Aggarwal - Head-MICE

Manan is a Management graduate from IMS Ghaziabad, with experience in education & travel services. He has worked with Amba Kailash Foundation and helped setup a middle school in Delhi, which has over 600 students. Subsequently he setup a Management Institute with collaboration from a US based university which he later sold. He co founded Travelmasti.com in 2001 and established a leading brand in leisure travel segment for domestic and overseas travel.

Shiva P - Vice President & Business Head - Domestic

He has an illustrious career in Airline Industry both Domestic and International having worked with organizations like United Airlines, South African Airways, Sahara, Kingfisher, IndiGo. Prior to joining us he was the General Manager with GoAir in Mumbai. He has 18 years of varied and exhaustive experience in the areas of B2B, Corporate and TMC selling; Client Management and Acquisition. He supported IndiGo in setting up its first corporate market

Ashish K. Mittal - Head - International Ticketing

Ashish has 17 years of experience up his sleeve in travel trade specially in B2B space. He started his career as an entrepreneur in 1995 and grew his company to be one of the regions top most consolidators. This agency was garlanded with various awards for outstanding performance on different airlines. He founded TSC which was subsequently acquired by Via.

Ashish did his schooling from Indore. He is a commerce graduate from DAVV, Indore.
