Great spot to stay
btnusaon 15/08/2017 22:45We only stayed one night but this is a very nice hotel. Great location in St Andrews. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was included and very tasty. There isnt a lift, only stairs and parking is on your own at nearby lots. We would certainly return to The Golf Inn if we stay in St Andrews again.

Don't be put off by staying in a room above a pub , I found the stay to be better than some so called 4 star hotels! Room size was good, very clean and staff very helpful. No hassle with anything .Would recommend a stay here
Too little space

We sat at a table where diners had just vacated and a pleasant young lady cleared it for us. This seemed to be a no go area unless you were eating and the bar was too small and crammed to have any real enjoyment. Shame as it is a lovely place
Lovely staff, great food
Joyce Mon 20/07/2017 20:21We had lunch here on an Itison deal. Fish and chips were great with good bread and lovely tea. Welcoming staff who were very efficient and had the right level of attentiveness. Clean, good atmosphere, toilets are upstairs.
Avoid visiting
MaryJane141on 10/07/2017 17:05All we wanted was a cup of coffee and there was absolutely no welcome from the staff eg. You cannot sit at those tables they are for groups and for people with dogs. Imagine!
We eventually received our drinks and they were mediocre. Never to be visited again.
