Jeff Mon 24/06/2015 15:04I requested to book through Airbnb for July 3-4. I have traveled with Airbnb many times before. My request for this room was declined without reason...which I feel is very unprofessional. Management should find more skilled employees.
Overpriced and old.
Susan Hon 21/06/2015 17:08Quaint? Maybe at one time. Old? Yes. For $185 a night the sheets and towels had bleach stains, the AC is musty and old. Needs a major facelift. This is lipstick on a pig. Outside is quaint and beach is walking distance - if you like super-crowded party beach atmosphere. Rates should be $85 a night. If you are looking for romance and comfort look elsewhere. Overpriced.
Quaint inn for a peaceful beach vacation
southerngirl745on 31/05/2015 03:45This is a cute, quaint inn with all the amenities you might need for a low-key beach vacation.There is a porch available in the back with a grill and swings that can be used by all rooms. Some rooms like ours, Unit 5, has a special semi-private porch area too. Beach access is quite close, and the inn is in walking distance to several shops and restaurants. We found the room and kitchenette and bath to be just what we needed. The only complaint is that the included WIFI that was promised did not turn up until the day after we checked in. One of the nice ladies who was cleaning one of the other units tried to help us but to no avail. They were quite helpful about trying to help us, so the only reason I mention it is in case you desperately need internet for work or school - you may need to go somewhere else. Overall, we had a very very pleasant stay at the inn, and we felt it was quite a reasonable price compared to some of the other places we looked at before booking. I would definitely stay there again/recommend to friends.
Charming stay right by the beach!
Brian Mon 25/05/2015 18:35We spent two nights in this cozy and comfortable hotel. The rooms have an old charm about them and something you don't find in a chain hotel; character. The minimal staff interaction was pleasant and being a hop, skip and jump from the beach is a HUGE plus. If someone I knew was going to Tybee Island to vacation, the 17th St Inn is the first place I would recommend. We'll be back.

beckie aon 06/04/2015 01:52we stayed here mardi gras weekend we were very pleased with the room it made us feel at home cozy quiet and complete with full kitchen bath and all we will book more trips here no problem ,, we cant wait to go back we are planning a week stay in the near future nice folks and very nice accomadations
