855GlennPon 07/08/2017 05:05Went to the 1842 a couple of weeks ago. The room was wonderful. I enjoyed my stay at the Inn. Had breakfast in the parlor. The food was good. The staff were attentive and helpful. I would like to point out that Joanne was wonderful. She made my wife and I feel at home. I would come back again. Thank you.
Fantastic hotel
Smaj2210on 03/08/2017 01:55This is one of the Best and most beautiful hotels in the US! Me and my friend arrived around 8 pm. Gloria at the reception made us a big plate with h'ors deouvre, water and sodas. We enjoyed it at the veranda which is so amazing! We stayed in Ocmulgee which was Nice, clean and had a great View of the courtyard. The next morning Gloria (angiver one!) made us an amazing breakfast in the courtyard! Macon is a very smal but cozy town. Would recommend everybody staying here, If not for Macon, then for this Fantastic hotel! Would love to cond back!
An amazing stay
correllpon 01/08/2017 14:29We were in Macon for a special family event, first visit ever to the town, and stayed three nights, but early on we felt like a part of the family! The entire staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, and we wanted for nothing! Breakfast was delicious and I understood the afternoon reception was great too, I regret I was too busy with other things to enjoy, but we loved having breakfast in the garden. On our last afternoon there, my daughter invited about 25 friends and family to a happy hour (she had wine and champagne left over from her wedding the night before!) and we had access to both the parlors and the spacious front porch and the staff was was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, a perfect place for this family and friend gathering to celebrate our daughter!

melissakvandaltooon 16/06/2017 17:43Inviting, cozy, stately, comfortable. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Didn't want to get out of the bed. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay again. Unfortunately, I was only there one night. I would have liked to have stayed longer.
A wonderful stay
Tony Ron 11/06/2017 23:19Had the pleasure of staying at the 1842 Inn for two nights and were greeted warmly by Shirley who remembered us from a previous year.
Our room - Cotton Merchants - was large, clean and comfortable and situated in the Victorian Cottage.
Breakfast was delicious, we had it in the Courtyard on both mornings and it was served to us by Lucretia, who really couldn't do enough for us.
I can't say enough good things about the 1842 Inn and JoAnne, Shirley and Lucretia ...loved our stay and highly recommend.
