Excellent breakfast!
Rhiannon Ron 11/08/2017 14:35We stayed in the Hearth room. It was very nice. A Keurig was available in the room with a variety of small snacks. The bed was extremely comfortable! Breakfast was our favorite part!! So many choices each day. The breakfast pie was wonderful. It is an easy drive to downtown. Would stay here again!
Wonderful place to stay!
Dan Don 10/08/2017 21:43Nestled in a crowded suburban area to the east of the city, this is a gem. A real refuge in a very busy area.
The house and rooms are very nice, clean, well-appointed. Hospitality is great. Food is REALLY great.
Where else do you stay and find a decanter of sherry with fine crystal glasses in your room?
Anytime I am in Louisville, this is where I will stay.
Wedding Day Preparations Severely Dampened by Management
eleanorpoczatekon 04/08/2017 15:49I recently stayed at the Inn at Woodhaven for my sister's wedding weekend. My sister had booked the bridal suite for Friday and Saturday for her bridal preparations on Saturday, and of course with her Fiance Saturday night. The day of check-in, Marsha let us know that we could not have more than three people in the room at any time (which I will add, my sister had notified management that her stay would be for her bridal weekend). My sister was charged $15 per every extra person in the room - NOTE: these extra people were literally just in the room for a couple of hours during the day.. not staying the night. Marsha was so unaccommodating and rude to my sister and our family on this extremely precious and special weekend. She even went as far as asking that we vacate the room at 1PM on Saturday so that her cleaning staff could change sheets - knowing full well that we were literally in the middle of photos and final bridal preparations. Long story short: this space is gorgeous, but Marsha's demeanor and treatment of my family during our stay has inspired me to write this review. It put an extremely sour taste in all of our mouths - including the Bride on her special wedding day. What a shame.
Birthday Celebration for he and I
connien515on 28/07/2017 00:14We wanted a different experience than a typical hotel for this occasion. A family member recommended The Inn at Woodhaven. No problem booking online and reserved the room of choice. It was The Rose Cottage and it was unique and quaint! It is detached from the main home but a short path from our door to the main house for breakfast! The furnishings fit the house perfectly. Clean. The mattress and bed was comfortable! The breakfast was wonderful as were the hostess. Would recommend to anyone looking for something special!!!!
Wonderful place to stay. You do need car.
ossieunson 18/07/2017 15:28This is a wonderful B&B about 8 ml from centre of town. If there is anything that you want in a B&B it is available here. We can't think of anything that you would want that wasn't supplied. Just take care when booking upstairs rooms there is not lift but a beautiful grand stair case. If you stay in the attic apartments, very very step stairs, but it is worth it. 1/2 mile away is a lovely park with wild deer, ducks and squirrels. Would happily stay again.
