The lady of the house, Maria, is the perfect hostess. She was always at our disposal, showed us the surroundings with the nicest places and made us a delicious and original breakfast,
We loved our stay.

Julie Hon 13/06/2017 20:01We stayed here for a last minute getaway Saturday and were very pleased. The house was beautiful and full of Victorian charm. The Autumn Rose room was just what we needed - spotless, comfortable and air conditioned! Maria's breakfast was both original and tasty, and she was so helpful and friendly with anything we needed. It is hard to find pet-free accommodations in Vermont and we are thrilled we found this place. The hiking trails that back up to the property (behind the peaceful garden) are a nice bonus as is the walking distance to downtown Brattleboro. We will absolutely be back to this lovely property.
Outstanding breakfast and hospitality
Johnpk5560on 29/05/2017 20:42Thanks to a gift, my wife and I were treated to an exquisite, interesting and perfectly prepared breakfast here on our way out of town this morning. Maria's cooking skills are top-notch, and she and Lynne were very personable and made us feel right at home. The house is great, beautifully decorated and with many thoughtful touches. We live relatively nearby, but will be making this one of our top suggestions for visitors from out of town.

Gorgeous decoration made by the owner, with an esquisit taste like I haven't seen in my years of travel in America and Europe!
The house was warm, the small garden and the woods in full spring colors.
Marie, the housekeeping young lady was a perfect host, she gave us plenty of useful information about the place and prepared a delicious breakfast...and the coffee was delicious...

lumbertruckon 13/02/2017 23:14Wow! We had a delicious catered meal (from the Front Porch in Brattleboro VT) at the Crosby House this weekend. The house was warm and cozy with fires going in the fireplaces. The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. It is the prefect setting for a small, intimate party. We could not have asked for a better day!
