Pleasant Stay
Deepshika15on 08/07/2017 20:03We stayed here only for one night back in August 2016. As all the reviews before mine say, the hotel is very quirky and fun! The room and bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had seperate cubicles for the toilet and shower.
Staff here are very friendly and help you out with your queries instantly. They even helped us get a cab in the morning to get to the airport. Breakfast was average and was served at an additional cost, it was not included in our room rate.
Overall we had a pleasant stay here.
Funky, quirky, fun - and special
RayB880on 03/07/2017 14:23Great location - not much more than a 10-minute tram ride from the centre of town, with a tram stop right outside the hotel. Also a taxi rank outside, so easy to get a ride to the airport. The rooms are clean and seem to be well maintained - although the shower did tend to run hot and cold at times. The a/c in our room was a bit weak, so did not cope too well with the heat wave while we were there. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, even when busy. They do a great job, and provide a good service. The hotel offers Wi-Fi to go - it is great (and free! But only 2 available). They also have a couple of mini cars available for 'test drives' for up to 4 hours or so. Great way to see the local area. There are also bicycles available for use. A table tennis table seemed to get plenty of use. The breakfast is somewhat basic, with a limited choice, but good food and perfectly acceptable for a wholesome meal. A couple of interesting mirrors on the wall - I thought that they were a dolphin and a whale....but apparently they represent islands in Zurich Lake! Very nice background music played during the breakfast times which we enjoyed. Weekend breakfast timings are great - served until 2pm; so you can have a nice lie-in. There are a few flies around the breakfast tables, which can be a little irritating. They put a German newsletter on each breakfast table; even though we have no idea what the words are (wish that there was an English version supplied), it includes a useful pictorial weather forecast. One included reference to a restaurant called Co Chin Chin (near Limmatplatz tram station) - so we tried it out. Highly recommended - but it was packed, so do book! Only breakfast seems to be served – although there was a room service menu (we never tried it). The breakfast place becomes a bar in the afternoon/evening.
The lift did some odd things at times – after swiping our card, and pressing our floor button – a couple of times it de-selected itself! So watch out for that.
There is a gym, but it is small with a couple of machines for running/cycling, and a rowing machine, plus some weights. But perfectly good for a workout. Also a reasonably-sized sauna.
Recommended - we will certainly come back.

nardis33on 01/07/2017 20:57This new hotel has his own style: nice and funny. Very good service and very good located not far from the center. Modern spirit! Very good breakfast with high quality food (for instance Swiss cheeses).

Sara Yon 29/06/2017 20:59We stayed in this hotel for one night before heading to the airport. The staff were very nice, helped to set up Taxi for picking up next day, very responsible. The room design fits for young people, very special.
Nice and pleasant hotel stay
irene791on 22/06/2017 14:21I enjoyed the atmosphere of the lobby/bar area and the different chairs in it. The hotel is also easily accessible by car with garage parking and signs showing the way to the hotel. Mattresses are very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
