Charming B & B
7777Denveron 02/08/2017 18:37We loved this B & B for its location, the wonderful and attentive hosts, the lovely courtyard where we breakfasted and the quaint ambience. Mattia was off on his own vacation the day after we arrived however he greeted us with some wonderful suggestions for eating and experiencing this exceptional city which were not in the typical tourist crosshairs, showing us on a map where everything was located. Agostino and another very helpful staff member ensured we had everything we needed. Breakfast included hot and cold choices with some yummy pastries. We were assisted bringing our luggage to and from our room as the staircase might have been a challenge. We definitely would come back to this well kept and intimate B & B.
Lovely Stay
laufri86on 29/07/2017 18:30We recently stayed here for 4 days and had a really enjoyable stay.
The location is great - close to good transport links but away from the chaos of the main strips. We loved the area is it was calm and felt more like "the real deal."
On arrival we loved being met by a beautiful little courtyard garden where you have breakfast each day - this was such a bonus and we enjoyed sitting outside with a bottle of wine one of the evening, just relaxing.
The room was lovely and spacious and felt very traditional which is surely what you want in a building that is 100s of years old! Huge comfy bed and stunning views over the little canals too.
Mattia the host really goes the extra mile to ensure you have all the information you need and helps in any way he can - from restaurant recommendations to top tips for missing crowds etc. Thank you so much!!
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and will be telling friends and family all about 3749 Ponte Chiodo!
Very nice B&B
Gerard Pon 21/07/2017 01:39Stay 3 nights in July. Host was extremely helpfull providing advice on restaurant and tips for local travel. We had a superior room on the second floor and the room was clean, big enough for a couple and we had our own bathroom which was well equiped. The room also has a fridge but it very small which is the only negative thing about the place, There was a lot of choice for the breakfast and having it in the garden was an affair on its own. The garden is also a great place to relax at the end of the day as long of your mindfull of the other residents of the hotel. I`d definitely stay there again if I were to go to back to Venice.
Delightful Stay
CJCheshireon 16/07/2017 12:38We stayed at this lovely guesthouse for 3 nights recently. We were so pleased that we chose it. Not only for it's tucked-away charm, but also for its charming host Mattia! Our first trip to Venice did not disappoint , despite the crowds and heat. Our host helped us negotiate this beautiful, watery city, steering us gently to sights we might have missed and restaurants hidden in less tourist-trod streets. Will let you find out about these when you stay at 3749 Ponte Chiodo, which you must do if you like small, enclosed gardens, authentic Venetian houses, good coffee for breakfast and backstreet canal views. Highly recommended, but don't tell everyone!!!!
Lovely B & B
K Son 16/07/2017 09:32We stayed here for 2 nights in June. We were greeted by our host Mattias who shared his local knowledge regarding the best sights to see and best local restaurants to eat at. Our room was nicely appointed with a view of the canal and a lovely breakfast was served in the courtyard. There was a kitchen where you could make your own tea or coffee and use the fridge for storing drinks. I much prefer this type of accommodation instead of a hotel, and would thoroughly recommend.
