Comfort and convenience in the heart of the Altstadt

The Central is exactly that in the heat of the city by the Market square. It is a modern hotel with approx 16 rooms. all are modern and perfectly comfortable for a few nights stay.Not Big rooms but sufficient. The beds were comfortable with individual quilts. The staff are extremely good, see other reviews to confirm.
The cost is very reasonable - they do provide breakfast but we chose not to go for itit is in the centre of the town and it can be noisy with the window open - so close it and let the excellent air conditioning do its job..

Cannot beat the location plus the 2 ladies on reception couldn't be nicer.The only iffy issue is the single bed too too small therefore would be wise to go for a double not to end up with a backache. If windy was left open at night rooms facing the main thoroughfare could be noisy.Enjoyed my stayed.

Perfect Location

Hotel Central was the perfect spot to stay in Nurnberg in order to explore Old Town, located almost right on the corner of the main marketplace down town, and just a short walk from the S-bahn station. The hotel staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating, allowing me to check in early and helping with various needs. Though the room was not fancy, it was modern, clean and had everything you'd need.

A great base for a visit

The hotel is nice and clean and well located. A 1 minute stroll takes you into a lovely market square and the surrounding streets have some lovely bars. A little further afield and across the river are some nice shops and a further selection of bars. All in all I'd recommend both the hotel and the city as well worth a visit.

A great value stop-over

We were only staying one night but quite frankly would happily have stayed longer if our plans were not set. This family run hotel is perfectly positioned in the centre of the city within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. The rooms are of a reasonable size, comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the discounted parking in the adjacent multi-story car park very convenient. Yes there is some street noise but in the heart a city it is to be expected and didn't present a problem. Breakfast was extensive and good value. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
