Great Massage, Very Friendly Staff, Clean Room

Recommend the in room massage! Very relaxing and affordable ! Suggest to skip the massage salon at Nagoya area.

All the staffs i met in the hotel are friendly and super helpful.

Room interior is decent and complete with a nice bathtub.

Cons: Have doubts with the security of the room as the windows do not seems secured.

Excellence reception staffs- Awesome!

Book 3 rooms. All are clean and spacious. Very helpful and friendly reception staffs who can speak Mandarin and English well. Breakfast variety very limited. This is my 2nd stay with Hotel 89. Everything was good except that i was charged for my little girl breakfast at 40,000 rupiah which other hotels don't charged and she only had half a bowl cereal. Will be good if the restaurant counter staff learn some basic english. She was talking to me in malay even when i tell her i cannot understand what she say and she still continue talking . . . .

A good and well located hotel with good facilities for gym and massage. Simple and clean with friendly staffs. Worth value for your stay in Batam. Rooms are comfortable and with good space. Some rooms are in the inside side without windows, who I had a friend who was not feeling so comfortable because no natural life. But despite this it was perfect. Recommend if you come.

We only got 1 dental kit when we checked in as a couple; had to ask for 1 more at the reception.
The toothpaste was hard as glue, we had a hard time squeezing it out.
Beside, they don't provide soap for hand wash. Shampoo and shower gel are the same gel and felt like dish washing soap.
Hair dryer was spoil. We had to use our friend's room to dry hair.
Hotel management, if you are reading this, please check the hair dryer at room 4841.
Or we were just unlucky that the housekeeping department was so busy the day (It's PH)
My advise to avoid getting disappointment of staying here is to bring your own toiletries.

눇The breakfast was not bad. Rooms are clean. Free shuttle bus to the main shopping malls. Reasonable (or I should say cheap) taxi rate if you can't catch the shuttle bus.

Expected better

Stayed for a night (Thankfully so.) Room wasn't up to my expectations from what I saw on the website....I'm sure there are better places for the price I paid. Was even charged 30000 Idr for 2 btls of mineral water from the mini bar.
