Great locale for a Rochester trip
797eileenon 01/05/2017 00:04The innkeeper Heather is terrific. Went this past weekend to visit friends in the area. She was very accommodating to my somewhat flexible schedule. Manny's Spanish omelet this morning was amazing (along with the banana bread and the French toast the day before). Eggs, melt in your mouth potatoes, chorizo, peppers, onions, yum! The room was very pretty, roomy and clean and the bed was comfy. I saw some posts regarding parking; when we pulled up, I studied the sign about which day for which side and Heather made it easy for us. Park in the driveway and leave your keys. It was perfect and we didn't have to deal with figuring out what to do with the car. Great location -- most everything is in walking distance. I would go again!
Amazing B&B
Mandy Fon 10/04/2017 00:29It was a beautiful house in a very nice city. Rochester is a beautiful city with nice people. The innkeeper Heather was very sweet and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! She made crepes and broiled pineapple. Our room was charming. The king bed was comfy. We will definitely be back.
A lovely place
nannerottoloon 20/03/2017 22:34Beautiful, so very clean. Great breakfast. But the bed was old and uncomfortable. The room was on the small side, but the bathroom was very nicely appointed. The house! It is a gem. A bit too expensive!
Wonderful Accommodation for our visit to Rochester

They did a wonderful job of renovating this old house into a B&B and keeping with the original architecture. It is an old house with old house issues, but that just adds to its character.
Fantasic Get-Away in the City
dgefellon 21/01/2017 17:52This is the best bed-and-breakfast experience I have ever had! My family had a reunion in Rochester recently, and we all stayed at the Edward Harris House. On other occasions we have stayed at their cottages on Long Pond or the Genesee River. Susan and Manny greeted us with incredible hospitality on the evening of our arrival, making us feel comfortable and part of the family. The house itself is a gorgeously restored mansion in the heart of the cultural district in Rochester, with a perfect mix of functionality and antique beauty. When we arrived, the holiday decorations were up, giving their home added warmth. The room I stayed in was the master suite, with a fireplace, huge king bed, changing room, and private bath. Their attention to details of comfort and beauty, and their hospitality are unmatched! Dan G
