Perfect location

Perfect location, lots of lovely, traditional restaurants near by with excellent reviews. Close to metro but also within walking distance of the sights.
Room clean and no problems.
Check in time is 1.30pm but you can keep luggage there while you go for a wander.
Would stay here again, clean, cheap and convenient.

This was the only place during our trip that we had asked to have our room ready asap because we hade been travelling since 4 am. We got a little delayed so we weren't actually there until 1 a clock which was the normal check in time(what our booking said and what it said on the Web page) But our room wasn't ready! We were so tired and just wanted to sleep but no they said that their check in time is '' half past 1 so you can come back in 30 min'' sigh sigh. Then when we came back and we're going to pay they really wanted us to pay in cash, but we just said that we're not carrying that much money(400 euro something) '' okey you can pay with card then, but you have to pay the city tax in cash at least! '' it was 35 euro so we could do that, but it was all so weird when the website said you could pay with card and they almost got mad that we would. The bed was very uncomfortable and had a dent in the mattress. Another thing interrupting our sleep was the music and YouTube videos playing in the reception in the middle of the night. Sometimes they even had people over and they very loud. Very frustrating when you're getting up early to explore this beautiful city... I also asked to use the safety box that was in our room and they where just very suspicious. '' oh you want to use it?.. I just want to tell you that 10 years we have been open and not once in those ten years has something been stolen not once! But ok if you want to use it you can. Just ask me for the code and I can give it to you.. '' (I thought that was what i just did, asked for the code) I never got the code... Everything just feels very unprofessional. The wrong check in time. The payment. The noises in the middle of the night, from staff not other guests. The safety box stuff. No just no. Not going back here and not recommending it either.

Very misleading ..

I found this hotel through booking.com. On the website it looked really good ! Good price, pictures, the rating was 7/10.
As I was looking I felt I was rushed to book as it kept popping up saying 'only 1 room left' or '9 people are looking at this hotel right now.' So I thought I best get it booked! And then after I checked trip advisor and seen that it had a lot of mixed reviews and some bad pictures. So as it was for valentines day and my girlfriends birthday I thought it was best to get something better. Even tho it said no refunds I emailed straight away and asked if it was ok. They replied no..

So we arrive at this hotel which is up on the second floor of a grotty building. No signs or directions so we asked a very miserable cleaner who sort of pointed up. We walked in and I didn't think we was I the right hotel. There was a cluttered small desk in the corner of the room with a sofa and drinks machine. The couple then showed us to our room.. after passing step ladders and paint pots and an old kitchen cooker... On the pictures on booking.com everything was crisp white. But the floor was painted dark grey concrete, the window was cracked straight across and sellotape was used to "fix" it and the bathroom was a complete bodge !
I went and questioned reception and asked for a refund to which then they were extremely rude and showed us another room which was a little bit like the pictures on booking.com. Then they started demanding to see the pictures on the website pointing at me telling me there was nothing wrong.
They also said if I asked for a refund when I booked it they could of! I said great because I did and then the wife nudged him and said 'no he can't'.
So we left to another hotel loosing all my money.

I got in touch with booking.com and asked them for a refund. They tried to get my money back off the hotel and failed. I asked booking.com why they can't they give me a refund as it was them advertising it and they also said no.

Very disappointed with such a shoddy service. Avoid this sh#t hole at all costs !

Great - central, well priced, clean & friendly

We stayed here during a recent trip to Rome with some friends. Overall, I highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for good value for money accomodation in Rome. It's a budget hotel, but one of the best I've stayed in.

Firstly, the location is very central - only a few minutes walk and you're at the central metro and train line. You can also walk to the major sites which are about 15 - 20 mins away. There are also some nice eating and breakfast spots in the area (highly recommend Agora around the corner for breakfast).

The rooms are clean and basic. As mentioned, this is a budget hotel. However, everything is there. Comfortable beds, good shower, powerpoints and strong wifi signal (something often forgotten). Staff were friendly and very helpful, also when we arrived late.

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. We were out for most of the day, and it was good to have an affordable room to crash in. I'd stay here again, and would highly recommend it if this is what you're looking for.

Clean, affordable, close to Metro

Very friendly host, short walk to Metro. It was in a high-rise with other businesses so the name wasn't very apparent. Only on a intercom system - in small handwriting. Appeared to be an apartment that was remodeled into several hotel rooms. No problem finding it.
Very clean, modern. Nice shower/bathroom, cold AC.
Would recommend for the budget traveler.
