Finnish_traveler_2on 28/07/2016 14:09First of all this is not a hotel and secondly there is no breakfast served (unless you count two open cerial boxes and vacuum packed buns with expiration date in 2018 as a breakfast, we did not even touch them). The room prices are at the same level as in true hotels and better quality B&Bs. The only good issue was the distance from the airport (we walked from the terminal in 10 mins).

472denon 10/07/2016 20:02This is not a Hotel! Do Not Book with A Casa Doina Airport2. How I wished I had read the reviews. If you do not get there before they lock up, for instance, your flight has been heavily delayed due to strikes, then you will be locked out, ringing the bell or telephoning all the numbers on the wall has no impact whatsoever. In fact the owner complained that I had woken the neighbours up. I was a lone woman, ripped off by the taxi driver & left in the street, I had to walk back to the airport where I spent sitting on the concrete. The owners are greedy and rude, they quite happily took all of my money which I had to pay up front. Andrew C said Disaster, wished I had read this before I booked!!!

Rooms (and baths) are clean, big and comfortable, the breakfast rich and the kindness of the personnel unpayable.
Although the map, the apartment is not easy to find because of the horrible Pisan streets, but just ask them and they come to pick you at the terminal.
See you again, for sure.
One Night Stay in Casa Doina Hotel Airport 2 Near Pisa Airport
Gary Con 05/08/2014 16:00Whilst I had expected a Hotel, this in truth was no more than a large Villa with converted rooms. I was given a room on the ground floor at the front, (i.e. a front ground floor bedroom), but an en-suite shower / toilet had been built-in which was not at all bad. Tea; coffee and breakfast cereals etc were provided in the room, but no Dining Room available for evening meal for which I was directed back to the Airport where there is a passable 'Italian' Restaurant albeit a little rustic / basic. The main advantage of this hotel apart from its (understandable) economic pricing, is its relatively close proximity to the Airport, which if you follow the right routing is no more than half a kilometer away and thus easily walkable; (unfortunately I followed the Taxi route from the Airport, but by foot, and it took me over an hour to find the hotel with no maps to hand and uncertain directions from the locals. Leaving was understandably much quicker; 15 - 20 minutes walk, at most. Double Bed was fine and quite comfortable and the room was air-conditioned with "free wi-fi" and TV and private with no interruptions (nor service) albeit a little dreary. A communal Fridge was located outside my door with complimentary Milk and Yogurts etc. Overall, it was what it was, and no more, but suited my purposes, for the one night only.

Breakfast was a tray of biscuits, cornflakes and powdered milk on a tray beside the bed
