lucRGdaPlon 08/06/2017 20:53Just avarage. The pros is that it's near the A2 autobahn, very easy to reach. The rooms are avarage but clean. The breakfast variaty is very limited.
I would recommend it only if you need a cheap stay near autobahn.
Excellent Value for Money
OxfordshireLeson 08/06/2017 18:29This was an overnight stay whilst travelling from Poland to Holland. The hotel is a typical motel on the edge of an industrial estate just off the E30. The check in was quick and conducted with the usual German efficiency, the rooms are large, well equipped and spotlessly clean and the wifi is fast and free. The beer is good and the food is excellent.
Although not a place to stay at for a long period due to the fact it is in the middle of nowhere, it is an excellent place for an overnight stay to break a long journey
A greeat find
David_Ben454on 07/12/2016 15:28So driving out to Poland three weeks ago stayed in the £200 a night Mercure Hotel in Hannover. Pretty awful and overpriced (review below). On the way back, found this, nestled just far enough from the A2 highway to be silent (and to be fair on a business park) but close enough to pop in and out rather than negotiate a town road system... This hotel is ace. Slight delay checking in due to just one person being on, but that is my one and only gripe. Good price, lovely rooms, quick food, cheap beer, good wifi...and just what I have been looking for in those cross Europe runs. Bathroom and room were spotless, bed and pillows slumber-like, and I could finish a couple of hours of work I had hanging on with a nice drink and silence. Well done...I will be back. And again. And again.
Decent hotel for very reasonable price
Jandaan1968on 12/08/2016 08:15A bit in the middle of nowhere but the A2 hotel is located close to the E30 between Magdeburg and Berlin and is a perfect place to stay when passing through. Mid size clean rooms, friendly staff, pets allowed. Continental breakfast is of average quality. There is hardly anything in the vincinity of the hotel so I had dinner at the hotel which was actually quite good especially considering the prices which are again quite low.
Free wifi for 2 hours.
Nice hotel for a reasonable price
Alicja Won 19/10/2015 21:16If you a traveling across Germany (via E30) and you are looking for a decent hotel for a reasonable price you should definitely consider Hotel A2. We have stayed there for only 1 night, however I will definitely come back again.
Pros:
* Great location - close to motorway (couple of minutes driving distance) but the area is very peaceful and quiet. You won't hear any motorway noise.
If you are travelling with dogs (like us) you will have quite a lot of area around the hotel to take your dog for a walk. Perfect!
* Rooms were in a good condition, clean, well equipped and in decent size. Toilet/shower room clean and not smelly :).
* Breakfast - you can have toasts, fresh rolls or German bread, scrambled egg, fresh coffee/tea, nutella :), ham/sausage/cheese/jam, cereal.. I am sure everyone will find something nice to have.
* Small bar at the ground floor - for hot drinks and cool cocktails
* Reception staff speaks English (bit limited, but it was good enough to sort out our problems with room reservation).
Cons:
* No wi-fi in rooms, we couldn't get it in Reception area as well.
* Pillows we had in our beds were waaaay to soft! They got proper flat after we place our heads on them. Bit uncomfortable.
Apart from that - I definitely recommend this hotel for everyone traveling across Germany!
