Property worth staying
triplleriston 21/08/2017 11:34It was a group of families trip from Mumbai. Indeed, Aakar lord is a good property. We had nice stay here for 11 aug night. This hotel is situated at very start of lake and view of lake is awesome. Staff were very courteous, Buffet veg breakfast was good. Room was quite spacious and clean. Swimming pool was small and beautiful. Snooker and table tennis facilities were in ok condition. Due to Monsoon festival getting started on saturday, guest occupancy was good even on friday. Saputara is very small place so market area, lake and almost all hotels are very close to each other. For liquor lovers, get it arranged in advance before entering Gujrat.
Overall nice stay !
Stay Away
PragneshKumar Gon 21/08/2017 03:39HI It is Ang or below avg hotel
My Bad Experience
1) Check in takes around one hour
2) my room lights go off 10/12 times, turn off housekeeping in very bad.
3) Rooms are old few lights and few shower tools are not in working condition.
4) buffet lunch and dinner are not good, no good varieties and not at all tasty. (However, breakfast varieties are good and worth some taste)
5) flying bees all over the table in lunch and dinner seating
6) if you call housekeeping they redirect to room service, if you call room service they redirect to reception, it seems all are Hotel management students, low paid so running away from work.
7) Pool is very small, no attendant near pool or activity center. It looks like desert place.
8) Pool table clothes are torn. Unplayable condition. Table tennis nests are not usable.
9) parking outside with risk
10) no sign board so easy to miss the turn while coming from Nasik
11) No tea-coffee maker in room, all though it is advantage in website, post complain they said it is only for elite rooms, this is not mention on website
12) WIFI only at reception area, not expected for such a expensive hotel.
I think, we should stay away from it, it is not worth the money, they should understand their level of facilities and service and half the rate.
Hitel across the lake
Driveaway77on 26/07/2017 19:38Stayed at Lords Akar inn in mid July-rooms are spacious good and clean, staff is helpful.
Pool is small, activity room is not maintained, gym has 4 machines.
No Tea coffee maker, no wifi in rooms- wifi in the lobby is useless just 2 small water bottles. Food is veg & not up to the mark.Punjabi food is good breakfast is below average especially south indian food. Buffet food has variety but lacks taste. We had breakfast and dinner in package. Food needs a lot of improvement.
Parking is outside letdown. You have to park the car and walk around 50 meters in heavy rain, no valet parking or covered parking shed or a covered pathway from parking to hotel.
Lords the brand disappoints.
Don't compare saputara to mahableshwar., Mahableshwar is comlaritively developed and has many things to do.
Come with few expectations and avoids peak monsoons and weekends.
Ropeway and sunset point aka table land are near the hotel around 3-4 kns. There is parking at the sunset point but road is very steep.
Boating is near Hotel Patang Lords .
Museum is in dialapated condition and not at all maintained.
Sugar and spice restaurant in hotel lake view is a good place to eat.
Just chill and relax , nothing much to do here.
One of the Best properties in Saputara
Shahnurd Don 22/07/2017 10:35Saputara is one of the only hill stations in Gujarat. It well connected from Surat/Vapi/Nashik. It's worth visiting Saputara during the rainy monsoon months, as the weather is beautiful around that time of the year.
About the hotel...
I have stayed several times at this hotel. Clean and nice. The view from the room is super. Almost all rooms have front facing lake-view.
Staff at the hotel are courteous and helpful. Food is vegetarian only but quite good.
However the breakfast was disappointing as always. Not much variety.
The hotel also has a small swimming pool and does not offer any activities for children.
All in all... the best property in Saputara where you can relax and unwind...
Nice hotel with small pool
Durgesh_Pandeyon 09/07/2017 18:17We went on a family trip to Saputara and stayed here for a Night. The hotel is very good considering the place. The location is good very near to lake which is bustling with activity.
The hotel has a pool though small one but still it's good. They also have a very small section for kids in the pool.
The buffet spread is very average with only live dosas. Being pure veg hotel they don't serve egg preparation for breakfast which is a let down.
As we went for long weekend the hotel was brimming to its capacity and service in restaurant totally haphazard.
Nevertheless it's a good hotel to rewind. Saputara should be visited only in rainy season n.
