Avoid at all costs
hpsauce93on 16/08/2014 23:41As two young female travellers, we did not feel at all safe or comfortable sleeping at this hostel. At the time of our stay it was full of non English speaking foreign men who we presumed were living there. The staff did not know we were arriving so it was lucky another guest was there to direct us to the manager. It then took 40 minutes for them to find a room for us. When they did we found the lock on our door didn't work. The room was a fairly good size and it did have a fridge and wardrobes but nowhere to lock any valuables. There is no wifi and only a few working computers which you are charged for. The room was adequately clean but the toilet and particularly the shower were not. There are kitchen facilities but no utensils to use. If you are using this as a base to explore Munich, it is about 10 minutes walk from an underground station which takes you into the city in 20 minutes. We would not stay here again.
Save yourself the disappointment and don't go here.

On our last night we come back to find our beds occupied with other people and our bags have been thrown into a cupboard. There were no other available beds so they told us to sleep on the couch in the bar.
Facilities are all very dirty, place is full of dodgy looking middle aged blokes smoking ciggies.
Just don't do it, it's not worth it.
Not sure what I was expecting
David Con 26/07/2014 21:51Didn't research it much just booked it. Didn't realise how far it is from city centre, a good 20 km's. Full of like eastern european men and their families. Dogs running around. No staff could help me book a taxi. Booked another place immediately, but it was a pretty comedy experience.
