Review of the restaurant

Firstly, this isn't a review of the hotel but the restaurant, if your traveling on a long journey as I was and need a place to stop and something to eat, make sure you find this gem just off the main road through Guadix, menu del dia consisted of lovely piping hot mushroom soup, wonderful cerdo (pork) with a delicious sauce, and typical rice pudding for dessert, followed up with coffee, all for 11€! Fantastic.

A really nice hotel to break up a long journey

This hotel is situated on the motorway just out side Guardix in one of the highest points in Spain. It us a welcome resting place on a long journey. Don't be put off by the exterior facade which is not very inviting. Once inside it is first class. The reception area and the reception desk staff are very good, polite and helpful. The hotel is spolessly clean. The rooms are also excellent; clean and well furnished. The bathroom was spotless and a good size. The restaurant is good with a fine selection of food. We have no hesitation in recommending the place.

A simple overnight stay between Costa Blanca & Costa del Sol turned into a great evening. From the outside, this is just a motorway motel - inside it's a Gem! The decor; the staff [Multilingual] the restaurant + the price = value

Comfortable hotel room to stay for one night when travelling, just off main road.

Dinner was surprisingly good in the restaurant but trying to get breakfast the next day in the cafe was impossible due to 5 bus loads of tourists trying to do so at the same time. No sitting room left and 4/5 deep at the counter. Give up and went to garage cafe at the other side of car park. Hotel is good value for money though for overnight stay when travelling. Check deals.

Good overnight stopoff , good value for double room . Cafeteria food good value. Very busy at breakfast, get there early

Good value and facilities for one night stop off, bedroom not very warm for december . Bedroom pretty basic
Good parking facilities on site, underground parking if needed. Convenient as just off the motorway . Petrol station beside hotel. Free wifi good strength all through hotel , staff pleasant and helpful
