What People are saying

Beautiful property close to the airport. Amazing service!

The property is very beautiful, you are literally staying in the castle - so we found it much better then the airport hotel nearby. We were staying in room 14 which is as the staff mentioned "the favourite room of the owner". It's nicely decorated and overlooks the beautiful front field. The staff was very professional and friendly, in fact, one of the best services we have experienced in France. The front desk personal were always professional, pleasant and eager to help. The restaurant is also very nice. This venue hosts many weddings, so their chefs know how to make the dishes both delicious and beautiful. This being said, the rooms need some touch ups: you can see unbolted door handles and unfixed toilet bowls, etc. I hope the owner would invest in rooms renovation/maintenance soon! Great place otherwise!

stayed 1 night wouldnt stay another!!

We booked this place as our last night in France as was near the airport .. On arrival the place looks amazing and the welcome was good , reception area and the walk to the room very impressive.. We did only pay i think about £80 for the night but wasn't worth it at all as looked like our room was decorated in the 80's and never been looked at since. Very disappointed !! Room wasn't big enough to swing a cat in , two small ameratto at the bar 20 euro!! no pool as was being painted.

Consistent Experience, great Food

The hotel is an old monastery in a beautiful garden setting. We had a "superior" room in the first floor, which was tastefully set up to match the old building, with antique furniture and "oldschool" fittings. The rooms may not have as many modern "features" as in other places, but were in great condition otherwise.

The service was impeccable, both on the front desk and in the restaurant.

We had the fine dining dinner and enjoyed it immensely. The dishes were delicious and added fresh twists on french classics, and again the "antique" setting added to the athmosphere.
It should be noted, however, that the restaurant is fine dining and if you're looking for a quick rustic snack you'll probably be up for a disappointment.

The hotel is a bit outside the city in a more rural area, and while the garden setting is lovely there is not much that you can do around the hotel (and you must have a car to get there and away). Due to the proximity of a motorway, it is also not as silent as it may seem from the pictures.

I can recommend this hotel for a one-night-stopover if you enjoy the fine dining. It will also be great for business meetings (and is also only a quick hop from the airport). It is probably not a place for a longer holiday, or for a family vacation.

Beautiful building, shabby but not so chic anymore.

I stayed here in cold and wet february. At reception they told me it would be 20€ each extra per dog ( 2 old clean quiet sleepy pups) I was quite shocked. The carpet in my room had numerous large stains, the curtains were full of dust and the corners of the bathroom ceiling were black. I was made to feel like a second class citizen because i had booked through booking.com and was told the room was already discounted. I didnt see any other guests staying there. I declined breakfast at 17€ extra. I was working and needed internet, there was NONE. i lost business, but no one cared. Having driven from the UK i wanted to have dinner, the restaurant was closed. Beautiful building and grounds in need of some love

This beautiful Abbey is unfortunately a little down at heel. The gardens whilst extensive are shabby or at least were at the time of our visit in Autumn. The room was characterful and comfortable with nice view across the garden. We ate in the restaurant which was unrelenting high cuisine (even the menu pour enfants had pate de foie gras and quail on it and whilst I am happy for my children to be challenged I would not recommend this). Finally the service that had been welcoming before slightly fell apart when i pointed out an error on the bill which led to surly reaction (although I was in fact proved right). A shame as the hotel promised so much.
