Two night stay after flight cancellation

We ended up at this hotel due to a flight cancellation. Shortly after arriving there, we were assigned rooms which is impressive, given that we were quite a lot of people arriving at once. Throughout our stay, the staff tried to fulfill our requests, but they always seemed a bit too dismissive.

The room was ok, although on the small side. While the room floor and bath were clean, the walls had marks on them and even bits falling off. One of the wall lamps was also moving (not supposed to). The only two power sockets in the room were nowhere near the bed. Free WiFi is an overstatement. There is a basic, very slow version, that cannot be used for much. If you actually want WiFi, you will have to pay for it. Also, better ventilation in the bathroom and a toilet brush would have been nice.

Breakfast and dinner were not impressive either. The food itself was good, the selection was limited (and a bit too standard for my taste).

My biggest disappointment was the rooftop pool area. Both the pool and the seating area looked fine, but I had expected them to be bigger. There is no space for a lot of people there. There is nothing to provide shade either.

Overall an average stay, less than you would expect from a 4 star hotel.

The double bed seemed quite unstable and moved with each turn of the body.

Tasty breakfast although after 7 days a little monotonous, nice and helpful staff. Good location near to big pedestrian street with lots of restaurants and shops.

Very small parking for such a large hotel, maybe 20 parking places.

Stayed in this hotel while crew changing,
The hotel is nice & quiet, rooms are very clean
Food is ok, also the bar area is nice.
Staff very good & helpful ,
They also serve bar food witch is quite nice.

Was put up here when a flight was delayed
Room was ok with acceptable air con
The buffet breakfast was ok but very very basic cheap yoghurt , fruit very very poor hot dishes. Totally lacked finesse
Lunch appaling - even way watermelon was cut was poor rough unmanagechunks, no veggie options, overcooked fish, overcooked meat, pasta which was overcooked , tinned tomato sauce tinned veg carelessy prepared salad,ready prepared fruit tart and one cake - poor quality careless chopped up, cheap ice cream which had large chunks of ice in it from clearly melting and beinng refrozen. No hot veg except chips
I would not have served food like this at home . The chef needs performance managing.
The restuarant staff tried but lacked any visible leadership - overwelmed by task of clearing and providing cutlery which could have been provided self service.

Stylish city hotel

The hotel is located oceanfront, 500 m from Old Town and 3 km from Las Canteras Beach.

The hotel offers free shuttle from and to the airport but the schedule is very limited.

From outside the building is not pretty, more like a hospital. From inside it is modern and nicely decorated.

Our Master Suite was on the top 11th floor but the entrance was from the 10th floor because of the rooftop pool. The suite was huge in size and had a long but narrow balcony with a seaview. There was a sewage smell in the room.

The breakfast was quite average in the food selection but worth the 13 euros.
