Read reviews and wasn't disappointed. Excellent varied menu, not just steak, could only manage two courses of the highest standard. Service was first class, prompt, efficient and polite. Thoroughly recommend

The hotel is a converted gracious private home with an extension. Staff friendly and helpful. Lounge / bar areas relaxing and welcoming. Good restaurant. No lift but staff offered to assist with bags. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would return.

Great location, great food, friendly staff

The Acarsaid has a great location, being within walking distance of the village and of the Blair Athol distillery. The room we had (Room 21) was very comfortable and had a very modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. The in-house Steakhouse serves fantastic beef. Our only gripe was that the "fluffy" rice turned out to be a rice cake, as the rice appeared to have been put into moulds when it was still cooking away. This was the only hotel on our trip to Scotland that served freshly brewed coffee for breakfast.

Really liked our stay, room was clean, bright and airy, bathroom was modern and clean. Staff were lovely and the breakfast was very tasty with a nice selection. Restaurant was good too. The place has parking. Would highly recommend.

just returned from two night stay at this hotel.Agree with lots of the other reviews on this site.Very friendly and attentive staff.Rooms spotlessly clean.Had meals at the hotel on both nights....both excellent quality.Would we return to this hotel in the future.... definite yes!
