Not , the easiest place to find

Not being able to find the address on our GPS we just put in the road. The hotel is a bit hidden on a side road off the main road behind a restaurant. Maybe a sign at the junction would help. Once there the hotel was to the usual good ACE standard. Corridors smelt a bit smokey, but the room was fresh and comfortable. Very clean.Our room was overlooking a busy motorway and railway line which was a problem if the window was open to get fresh air but during the night with window closed the sound insulation was good and it did not bother us. Not far from a large centre commercial so although there are a couple of restaurants nearby, if you want something simpler and cheaper, only a few minutes by car.

We stayed in an Ace Hotel in Bourges which was great so booked this for our return trip. The air conditioning was broken in 2 of the 3 rooms we booked an the hotel smelt like cigarettes. I would not recommend this hotel for even a short stay!

Nice stay, already re-booked!

We had a nice stay, a lot of room in the rooms and very quiet which was brilliant, room are sound proof so slept very well. The air con was very good and kept the room very cool. Excellent TV and facilities.
The only thing i would say is there is no coffee facilities, we asked for extra pillows twice and we never received them. The wifi also kept cutting out

Overall lovely stay we enjoyed our selves and we have rebooked for October

Selected this hotel from looking at google maps with a view to visiting the Somme area, was very pleased, 2 minute drive to A1 south or north bound, doesn't get any easier. The hotel itself is in a prime location for anyone wishing to travel in northern France, a very good restaurant is situated 20 paces from the hotel.
The staff here are the real reason why anyone unsure of staying here needs to just book up!

From the moment we walked through the door till the time we left a certain staff member made our stay from a good visit to an amazing one. We cannot thank her enough for what she helped us with 5***** I hope she gets some recognition and reward for the fantastic job she does every day :-))

The rooms were a good size, with all the basic facility's, more than enough required for travelling to and from the Somme everyday.
Breakfast is continental, with a good choice of food, is was adequate and very good, train station was a little walk for travelling into Lille, if you prefer to travel by train, The french rail system is far superior to anything we have in the UK. Several supermarkets and shops surround the hotel and are just a few minutes walk on the main road.
This hotel was ideal for our needs, it suited us very well, travelling up and down the motorways during the day and travelling to the fans park in Lille during the evenings.
I cannot pick any fault - location 5***** - hotel 4.5***** - food 4.5***** - staff 5*****

Adequate for one night

This is a basic hotel right on the motorway (with very little of interest in the area) but the rooms are of a reasonable size and the motorway is not too noisy at night. Breakfast was cheap and adequate.
