Food and services in Hungarian restaurant are very good, friendly staff is really nice.
Wasn't expecting much, but was surprised!
Tim Con 08/05/2017 14:34Sent here by Lufthansa when loads of lights were cancelled due to bad weather at Frankfurt airport.
The hotel is about 20 mins from the airport by free shuttle bus. This did not operate though for the first flights in the morning (7.00 am flights). Taxi was about €40.
The hotel was very basic, but clean. It was the first time that I had had a proper front door style key for a room in ages!
The rooms are an adequate size, but simple and clean. Not sure of the cost, as Lufthansa was paying, so cannot say whether I would have been happy paying the price.
There is a restaurant/bar on site in the "bomb-proof" bunker in the basement! I wasn't expecting much of this, but was pleasantly surprised. It was called the "Hungarium" and it was predominantly Hungarian style food, but was tasty and well cooked and presented. There was a reasonable selection of beer on draught and via the bottle.
I guess it is OK if you need somewhere reasonably close to the airport and are on a budget- providing you have a flight which the free shuttle connects to.

Weconton 30/11/2016 10:07The hotel is located near to the airport and close to the company Panasonic. The room is convenient but acoustic isolation to the street is not very good. The internet is included in the room rate. Nice hotel!
Ok for a night to catch an early flight
SaraVeg81on 11/10/2016 10:23Hotel offers shuttle service to and from airport and parking for the lenght of your stay at convenient prices. room is nice, nothing special but ok, only problem was the strong smell of cigarette smoke even if the room was non smoking, Had to leave the room and go for a walk and leave the window open for a while.
OK, but nothing more.
boofus_smegon 20/08/2016 09:21Recently stayed here for three nights on business, as my office is a 5 minute walk away.
The staff are pleasant, the hotel is situated in a very quiet location and the WiFi is reliable, but the room is a little dated and I struggled to get get a decent night's sleep in the bed. A shower-only bathroom and limited breakfast buffet offerings also impact on my rating.
One thing that did appeal was the inclusion of a kitchenette in the room, enabling me to buy a few provisions from the supermarket (a 15min walk), store them in the fridge and cook when needed. There is a very decent Hungarian restaurant in the basement of this restaurant, but other restaurants choices are limited if you have no transport.
This hotel offers a very handy free shuttle to/from Frankfurt airport (shared with The Steigenberger Hotel), which runs every 30 mins. The hotel is also walking distance to the train station, which I think is only 2/3 stops from Frankfurt centre.
Work colleagues have since informed me that the nearby Steigenberger Hotel is better value and more modern, with gym and spa facilities on offer.
