Short stay
MaggieVqon 03/03/2017 21:55After wandering around the building I finally found an entrance. Entering everything was clean if a bit dated. The staff was friendly and helpful.
My room was of a good size with a nice desk. The "closet" has no doors but things aren't cluttered when used. A nice full length mirror is in the room too.
I found the WiFi quite good, no problems at all.
Breakfast was varied and good.
Clean but showing signs of aging......
BabsStPeteon 18/01/2017 03:03The rooms are small and simplistic. Don't expect fancy lights, toiletries, or a soft comfortable bed. The hotel is clean and the service is good but it's a typical European hotel. Small and sparsely furnished. There is not even a dresser for clothing in the rooms. It's a stand up shelf that you have to stack your clothes on with very few hangers. You can get more if you ask but it's rather inconvenient.
Clean yet a Bit Tired

Hotel is basic and room was a bit tired. Nevertheless, was clean and pleasant for a short stay.
Breakfast was nice, with decent variety.
OK for an overnight stay.

Martin Ron 23/10/2016 19:40I first stayed at the Achat 3 years ago and wasn't too impressed. It has since got worse.
The rooms are clean and tidy, but the bed is akin to what you would expect in a youth hostel. I ran out of tissues and had to wait two days for them to be replaced, my loo roll was also not replenished when required, causing a late night visit to an unmanned reception. After 10 minutes I found somebody working in the kitchen preparing for breakfasts, who doubled up as the receptionist. At breakfast on my first morning I found the food had not been replenished, but the choices were poor anyway. My general impression of this hotel is that it is poorly managed and trying to do things on the cheap. I hope I do not have to stay there again.
Nice location, great staff
Kev Won 18/05/2016 07:49This is a basic hotel with a need for a little tidy-up of the decor. Having said that it is very comfortable, clean and right in the middle of the town.
The staff are very helpful and polite.
There is no evening meal option but there is a very good restaurant just outside the front door and plenty of others within walking distance.
Breakfast was the usual buffet but was very good with plenty of choice.
If I was in the area again I would choose the Achat again.
