Out of town but close enough
OcadoManon 27/08/2017 12:24Found this hotel on booking.com, what a find. We had great deal. I think the Hotel Newton is under going some form of refurbishment. The was a panel of un-decorated wall in the room, a non-working brand new air con unit in the room & one of the USB plugs not working. This is NOT a criticism it is a point of fact. It did not detract from the great stay we had.
The staff are, as you would expect, multi-lingual. There is free coffee vending in the breakfast room whenever you want. UK Tv channels on the room tv.
The rooms are en-suite, clean & airy.
Breakfast was fantastic. Massive choice of hot & cold foods, coffee, juice cereals. Parking is free but not guaranteed by the hotel. If push comes t shove there is adequate street parking close by.
If back in the area I would return again.

Stuart Mon 11/08/2016 07:11Very helpful staff, good room with amazingly English TV channels. 10 days into Europe tour this has been one of the best rooms so far.
Tea and coffee readily available in the restaurant, free parking onsite and situated in a quiet area. 4km from the town centre which is no big deal.

CasadellArton 08/08/2016 10:15Clean rooms, nice duvets, just fine for one night although fir a longer stay I will be just as good for our rooms also had a cooking faciliteiten and fridge.
Breakfast is not included, but you certainly get your money's worth. Free underground parking garage as well as outside parking. Bit outside town, but beergarten and McDonalds not far away, supermarket just around the corner.

Chris Pon 15/09/2015 20:11Stayed 2 nights at what was known as the Renaissance and now part of the Achat chain. I've been coming for a few years and the place is starting to look very tired. Breakfast was rather expensive for 15 euros and not really worth the money. Rooms overlooking the front are noisy and best avoided.

Pausadiason 14/09/2015 15:36On a busy road,so you 've got to close the window ,parking in front of the hotel is rather small so I had to park in the street behind ,room was clean and confortable.breakfast not tested.
Cheap supermarket nearby.Fridge in the room.
