Ok if you need a cheap and basic place to stay in Bonn
Liv Von 08/01/2017 16:49Hotel (with a Hostel feel) has good connection to the city centre by public transport, though it is located in a somewhat dodgy area of Bonn. Free parking on the road, free wifi and a clean room in an old-fashioned apartment block is what you get for around 50 Euros. If you are on a budget, this place may do.
not an usual hotel
barthapon 18/10/2016 12:39I have stayed in this hotel recommended by my colleagues. the rooms are in the building as you see in the pictures, but some people are living also in this hauses. the rooms are clean but they are very unpersonal. the furnitures are there but the whole thing has no character - this "cold" feeling.
the braekfast could be better, only a few variaty is offered

Good connection to city, bad area
Pavel Kon 27/05/2016 23:48For a good price you can get nice and clean accommodation, good breakfast. Hotel is not in the best area of Bonn (Tannenbusch) so keep your eyes open and stay alert while walking around. It is in a walking distance from Tannenbusch Mitte metro station with good connection to center or Cologne. No opportunities for dining around the hotel, though. Wifi is for free after asking for vouchers on reception. It is quite slow. Overall it is quite good if you are not picky, i.e. from UK. ;-)
Low cost, but adequate
Relentlessvoyageron 30/05/2015 01:17This is my second visit to Acora hotel in Tannenbusch, Bonn. It's located in a poorer area of Bonn, but is close to tram and bus connections to Bonn City centre. I'm happy with this hotel, I don't mind the area it's in, but the German friends I visited advised the area has problems with drug abuse.
Since I last visited, the local supermarket closed down, the student village has been demolished and a master plan is under consideration for economic regeneration of Tannenbusch - big changes are envisaged.
The Acora is simply furnished, but rooms include coking facilities, a sink, fridge and the necessary equipment to self-cater. This suited my vegan needs. The bathroom is a good size, the bd was comfortable and the TV programming included English language channels.
I'd return.
Old fashioned but clean
SylwiaAnnaon 26/03/2015 09:59I stayed there for two nights. I must say I do not know how much the room costs as I was there for business. Well, I do not think the room and facilities live up to the business traveller expectations.
The room was big but the furniture was so hopelessly German and the bed was much too smaal (one single bed). I do not know who installed the shower head. It was tucked in into the corner so I had to stand in the shower in the very uncomfortable position. It was also a hussle to get the water temperature right (too hot or too cold).
There is no possibility for dinner in the evening. The only restaurant is a kilometer away.
I would not like to stay there again.
No good espresso in the monring (just a coffee from a thermos jug!
