Excellent stay
be_watchon 05/06/2017 12:59Had a nice stay at Adjovimar, fully according our expectations. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in room 104 (garden side), with a lovely terrace. A 10 meter path leads directly to the swimming pool in the garden. (Note : room 104 is 1st floor at street-side, but ground floor at garden-side). Swimming pool depth in between 1,40 till 1,80 m. Bath towels available for free (deposit). Nice beds and mattresses. Appartment cleaned several times during our week stay. WiFi and internet-connections not always very stable. We've been told internet provider is working on this. Superb location. Sufficient parking spots in the street within a few hundred meters range. Nice price/quality ratio. Recommended. Will surely return during our next La Palma visit.
Top-quality apartment, sensational garden

The owners have fitted out the building to a very high standard - everything is smartly designed, attractive and new-looking, and everything works. Our apartment (206) was full of light from floor-to-ceiling sliding doors overlooking the garden. I'd strongly recommend asking for an apartment with a garden-facing balcony - we spent a lot of our time on ours, eating and enoying the view. The garden is the real wonder of this place - there's something beautiful and surprising wherever you look, countless varieties of exotic plants, flowers and trees, a network of paths, space to sit or lounge by the salt-water swimming pool, a herb garden, and a constant back-and-forth of birds and cats. A real haven of peace - photos can't do it justice. The location is a few minutes from the centre of Los Llanos on foot. We had a rental car, which put most of La Palma's places of interest within range. As a whole, it's remarkably good value for such great accommodation.
Excellent and well placed apartment

To wake up every morning with views over the lovely garden was idyllic. The quietness of the garden reflected all the love and care with which it at the apartment was maintained. The location in the delightful town of Los Llanos, with its many restaurants, was ideal as the whole of the Island could be explored using the excellent bus services. The small super market next door made shopping very easy. We very much appreciated the very helpful housekeeping staff and Fransisco made us very
welcome and arranged for George, an English speaking Taxi Driver, to take us to and from the airport
Poor shower experience, otherwise very good
Lars Bon 19/11/2016 10:1710 min walk from the city center and next door to a combined minimarked and breakfast place. Little lush garden with a small pool area with sun beds. Apartments upstairs have a small balcony and the ones downstairs a small terrasse. I would recommend the apartments upstairs as they might have a little more sun. The apartments are very nice with a combined open kitchen with a dining table and a couch with a small table in the other end of the room for relaxation. Bedroom was nice with a little balcony with two chairs and a small table. Wifi is ok. There is some noise now and then from the traffic on the road. There is a shared roof terrace with a 360 degrees view to the nearby mountains and coastline.
The bathroom looks nice but the shower experience is poor. When You have adjusted the water temperature for some nice 39 degrees centigrade and You are standing rubbing shampoo in your hair with closed eyes, the water temperature suddenly increases dramatically and You burn yourself and have to jump sideways to escape the way too hot water. Next thing thing after trying to readjust the temperature it all happens again, but sometimes the water turns cold instead. A disaster of a shower experience when everything else is so good! I complained about this and got some bulls... explanation about legislation about water temperature to avoid bacteria in the water..... Rubbish! That has absolutely nothing to do about it. Most countries have legislation describing minimum
water temperature in the water system to avoid bacteria but that has nothing to do with severe oscillations of water temperature. Adjovimar needs to invest some money to fix this problem.

Heleen Bon 30/08/2016 18:01Wonderful calm place with a beautiful garden and super friendly people. It's located at the perfect location on the island to travel to all the diffrent sights. It was the second time I visited Adjovimar and will return when I will visit la Palma again. I love it there and I highly recommend it to anyone, they have a lovely cat family too :)
