What People are saying

Good, but not great

edkion 02/08/2017 18:52

Stayed in the Timber Villas for two nights with my husband and our niece. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but if we ever go back to Sedona, we will stay somewhere else.

PROS

Beautiful property. All the rooms are big and gorgeous. We spent at least an hour admiring the room, the facilities and taking pictures.

Afternoon snacks is a nice touch. But you have to be there to enjoy them.

Home made bread is delicious! The snacks in the room are great.

CONS

There is no check in desk. So it’s a little confusing process in the beginning.

It’s a small property on the residential side of the city. There is nothing around it within the walking distance. You hit traffic when trying to get to the center of the city. It may take up to half an hour or more.

You do not get any views from your rooms.

Breakfast is served too late in the morning! With this place being B&B, breakfast should be served earlier as most of the customers start their day early.

Not too much choice for breakfast and it’s not very filling. In fact, my husband left hungry.

TV is very small and complicated to operate. There were no instructions in the hotel information book that was in the room. We somehow managed to find a hidden button that you have to switch on to turn the TV on. And only when we were getting ready to check out we noticed the envelope that they gave us when we checked in. Apparently, TV operation instructions were in that envelope! Along with some coupons which we couldn’t even use because we were leaving.

The room is designed for a couple as it does not have any privacy in the bathrooms. No doors to the bathroom and to the shower. It feels very awkward if you have three people staying in the room.

Cancellation policy is not very customer friendly.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful B&B

My family of four - including my two children, ages 10 and 12 - stayed for 4 nights in the Hacienda villa. We have nothing but 5 stars to say about every aspect of our time here. The staff were very kind and welcoming: thank you to Mary, Jorge, and Julie. You guys were nothing but wonderful in your suggestions (especially regarding a private tour of the Grand Canyon with Chris Kelly) and hospitality. The breakfasts were simply delicious: thank you Chef Jacqueline and Chef Michael - we will miss these sumptuous starts to our day. The housekeeping kept our spacious and beautiful villa tidy and well stocked at all times. We truly felt pampered and well taken care of during our stay. And this is on top of being surrounded by the gorgeous scenery of Sedona. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Babymoon

My husband and I spent 3 nights at AGV for part of our "Babymoon". From the moment we walked into our suite we felt right at home. It was SO comfortable. From the plush carpet to the cozy bed it was amazing! Breakfast was always fresh and amazing (and included!). One morning we left early for an excursion and the staff had a to go breakfast bag left in our room the night before.
Drinks were available at all times and each afternoon a fresh made snack was in the lobby for guests. In the evening it was fresh baked cookies! The chef was definitely 5 star! I loved coming back to our room to the smell of fresh baked bread after a long day of hiking.
Adobe Grand Villas was worth every penny and should we return to Sedona will for sure be staying here again!

Amazing, Charming, Intimate

Every year we celebrate our anniversary at Adobe Grand Villas and each year is more amazing than the previous. The staff attends to each and every guest as if they are family. Michael makes sure no stone is left unturned. We even took our entire family there for several days in April and Michael prepared a dinner fit for royalty. A truly elegant experience. Can't wait to return next year.
