Quite Residence
Alice Pon 10/06/2017 19:12We were looking for a small house or apartment after 7 days in a lovely house with garden, because we didn't want to step into a small and expensive hotel room, loosing money and the possibility to have space and a kitchen to cook (Corsica is pretty expensive if you have to eat out everyday). Our last 2 days of holidays were just perfect at Adonis. Clean, quite, facing the sunset, comfortable and big enough to have the feeling to relax, even if you are just in one bed apartment.
The only things were: no toilet paper and certain hours to check in (out of time the reception was literally closed and we had to stick around 2 hrs before getting the room). Side of this we booked the offer on line and it was cheap and easy. Like everywhere if your neighbor has kids, better if he's a nice person that teaches them not to shout, otherwise doors are not that good to keep silence and quite. But I guess it can happen everywhere...
A practical choice
susanhippersonon 30/05/2017 08:46Good for self caterers and families. Very spacious room with basic kitchenette (but only one power point!). Very nice, but unshaded, pools. Good free parking. Quiet but fairly long walk to town centre. A good choice.
Dissapointing!
Ulliloon 28/06/2016 08:01Unfortunately it did not feel like vacation staying at this place. Bathroom etc. seemed freshly renovated, BUT everything was just grey and white (meaning the floor and walls) - no pictures, no colour... The bedroom was without windows (except a small roof hatch, that could not be opened).
They do not clean your room during your stay (which is kind of nasty when you're staying for one week and went to a beach or two).
The hotel is located outside of St. Florent just next to a recycling center! To get into town you need to count a 20 minutes walk (which is not too enjoyable at night, as the road close to the hotel is not lit-up!). The only advantage in comparison to hotels in St. Florent "downtown" would be the easy parking.
Ultimately I would not call it a hotel. And even if you think of it as just an apartment (without all the "hotel amenities" like a regularly cleaned room) it is too expensive for what they have to offer.
May suite some but a lot of work needed here
Nicholas Con 13/09/2015 20:31I'm sorry Justin, the Manager, but I feel compelled to write this report but wish you every success and hope you move on to something better soon.
Justin and his team were gracious and incredibly helpful at every turn but this property requires a lot of hard work. It is more than walking distance outside Saint Florent, whereas most of the alternatives in the same bracket were very central. The pool is great and public areas are OK. The room is was a good size and boasted some cooking facilities, which would be useful to a family, but lacked some basics. There is no black out curtain, just a net curtain. There is no remote control for the AC and the unit is positioned in such a way you would have to be a contortionist to get at it. Insufficient and poorly located electric sockets, the wifi is "on/off" but more off than on (I appreciate your honesty though). There is no restaurantand you really can't walk into town or to the beach. Sorry again Justin but Housekeeping have a lot to learn and you have the previous experience to teach them, good luck.
I found a great hotel to move to right in the town, with a large pool and views of the sea (see my other reviews) for fractionally more and personally would not recommend, or go back to, Adonis. It may be usefull for a small family who want to be able to cook at the hotel and eat on the terrace, and are happy to get in the car every time they want to go anywhere, but this hotel is not for me.

100countries245on 24/09/2012 16:16The hotel was okay-looked like a hotel anywhere-no local charm and the view was terrible. I wonder which came first-the hotel or the recycle center? We walked to town which is about 15 minutes, but there are no lights on the hotel road if you return after dark!
