My preferred hotel when I come to Sumter, SC

This hotel is off the beaten path. I really think most people staying in Sumter don't know about this hotel. I always stay here when we come to visit our relatives in Sumter. My stay here is always a great one. The manager Greg is the best, he always makes sure I feel at home. I recommend this hotel for a short or extended stay. You can't go wrong!

Affordable Suites of America continues to amaze me. Thanks to Hurricane Matthew the room I stayed in had a face lift. New paint on the walls,some new furniture. granite counter-tops and new pictures on the walls. The 1 BR/1BA open kitchen and living area was neat and clean. The lighting was great.The living area with a flat screen television that worked without issue. The kitchen with cooking utensils and two complimentary bottles of water. The bathroom was stocked with towels. The bedroom also had a flat screen television. The pillows were fluffy and supported my neck which made for a comfortable nights rest. No stains on the carpet nor on the comforter. There is a laundry room stocked with 2 washers/2 dryers. The cost to wash or dry is $1. So bring your quarters. The housekeeping staff were professional and friendly. These ladies keep these rooms clean. The manager Greg Knox is so personable and professional. He's always asking is everything ok. Always available to make your stay the best it can be. The location is great too because it's close to plenty of restaurants, mall and Walmart if you need anything. I once again recommend this place on your next stop in Sumter. I plan to make arrangements to stay again as well.

I stayed at this location for 3 months while on a work assignment. The manager, Greg, was very friendly and helpful in getting me settled. He made sure I had everything I needed for my long stay. I had several run ins with housekeeping staff who were just as friendly and easy to get along with. The room was clean and the laundry facility was on site which was very convenient. I worked nights, so I slept during the day and never had any problems with noise within the complex. Overall a great experience, would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I were helping my son move to his new station. The military had already made his reservation but when I had gone online I couldn't find a room for our 1st night because of the hurricane except at the $300 and up places. When the manager heard he had a room cleaned so we could stay near our son and daughter in law. The previous person had been a late checkout so usually those don't get cleaned till the next day. Anyway great stay, clean room, quiet room and area. Super helpful to us and my son. Great prices.
The room has a kitchenette with an actual apartment size fridge, which looked as if it had been recently remodeled. We had the smaller layout room without living area but did have an eating area and large closet. Which we didn't mind since we only stayed three days. Our son who would be there a month had the larger layout with a living area. Like a mini studio apartment. Great caring staff and helpful. Definitely would stay again!

I have nothing but great things to say Scott this property.if you are in Sumter and need a place to stay safe environment,clean,quiet,management is very professional.The manager Greg made sure that I was well taken care of. Greg is very knowledgeable of his job.The rooms are very clean.The property is very clean .I wool always stay here when I am in the area and recommend it to everyone looking for a place to stay.
