Great 2 x 70 Years day
Leif Pon 20/06/2017 20:12We and our guests had a wonderful day at Agerskov Kro og Hotel.
Excellent food and a super staff made our 2 x 70 Years Birthday to a great day for our guests and us.
We will with great pleasure tell our family and friends about Agerskov Kro og Hotel.
Excellent and welcoming
KeithatWBon 17/05/2017 15:44Well furnished modern room with separate entree and shower/toilet, comfortable twin beds. Bedrooms in a separate bloc from the charming inn/restaurant but the danger of getting wet is lessened by the thoughtful provision of umbrellas in the room!
Dinner good but basic and fairly inexpensive for Denmark, breakfast excellent choice, german, danish, english styles.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
All in all an excellent stopover for a late departure from Copenhagen on way back to Belgium the following day. Will definitely use again when on this route
Historical venue, excellent food and friendly service
Svend Gon 19/03/2016 17:11Want to try something different? Located in a small town in the Southern Part of Jutland, you will experience good quality rooms and excellent food at fair prices.
The special atmosphere might come from the fact that the owners have now owned this hotel/country side inn for 40 years, following another family ownership of almost 300 years, granted the best hotel experience in DK 2016 by guest opinions. Therefore you do not only perceive good service, but also real hospitality and friendliness, not packed from a management programme, but coming from the heart of owners and staff.
Delicious local food and silent rooms
Mr_Pasion 04/11/2015 18:00This is excellent place to eat local danish traditional food. Portions are everything else than small. Hotel side is also good. Rooms are not luxury, but silent and well equipped. Breakfast is also good with lot of choices. When you are in southern Jylland that The place to visit.
Backcountry Surprise
ManfredJSon 27/09/2015 12:15Stayed there for 2 nights while sightseeing in Southern Jutland. Convenient central location. The inn or Kro dates back to 1767 and houses the restaurant and conference facilities, also some rooms on the 2nd floor. Most other rooms are located in surrounding 2-story buildings of various size and vintage, but all are up to modern standards.
We were upgraded from the comfort-superior level to deluxe room D. A room, a suite?! No. a complete house with 2 bedrooms, living room, full kitchen and a huge bathroom with a Jacuzzi. The wine cellar below us, however, was not part of the arrangements.
For the included breakfast one has to walk a few hundred feet to the main house, umbrellas for the ever changing Danish Fall weather are provided. The buffet breakfast is rich and plentiful with a large variety of choices for the health conscious and the "hungry man". Even a digestive or "en lille en" is provided free of charge.
The restaurant is well known in the area for its quality and large portions. It offers traditional Danish and international cuisine and is always full. Reservations for lunch and dinner are a must.
Management and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The owners are hands-on and one of them is always present.
We definitely will be back.
