The above 85 mts look like a canopy. The resort area is fully protected by barbed wire fencing and power fencing. The Naalukettu restaurant and some of the cottages are facing the reserve forest. The drive to the resort from Kattikulam town (Kerala) or Kutta town (Karnataka) is also through the forest which takes less than an hour. Also important tourist attractions like Kuruva Island, Tholpetty Forest, Pakshipathalam Mount, Irippu Waterfall and Kalindi River are nearby. The resort is very near to Thirunelli Temple which has been a witness to thousands of years of history and a solace to thousands of pilgrims in prayers. The belief is that if you make a visit to Thirunelli temple you will get the same benefit of a pilgrimage made to Kashi. Therefore it is called Thenkashi which means Southern Kashi.

david won 05/03/2017 10:47Spacious friendly resort really quiet atmosphere rooms are clean and tidy food is good and tasty surrounding mountains are beautiful and the temple just up the road is magnificent with a beautiful water viaduct bringing water to the temple
Place in the wood
nikunikuson 05/08/2016 07:53Stayed here for two days in july. The place is in the middle of a jungle. Costly for what its worth. The in house restaurant is good. Serves authentic kerala dishes. The rooms are ok, could be better. There is no provision fr getting anything from outside until u drive down 14 kms in ur own vehicle. We went fr a night safari. Was a total waste of money. The forest is beautiful though
Wonderful stay in the mid of the nature
diwarockson 26/06/2016 15:23Without doubt this was the best and favourite resort in the mid of the nature. If one needs to relax this is the correct choice. The resort is most serene situated overlooking the mountains.The nights are very quite and very very close to nature. Its a great place to stay.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff was extremely friendly and gave the information whatever we asked for.Food was awesome It felt like we were having homely food, very tasty and that too of our wish. The staff always asked for our food preference which we liked. Great hospitality.
The rooms were very neat and clean. Well maintained time to time. We had a lot of options to play indoor as well as outdoor games.
Our visit was mainly to the Thirunelli Temple. The route from resort to the temple was full of greenery. We enjoyed walking through that.
The atmosphere is very good and we felt like home. Appreciate the staff who were always helpful from our reaching there till the departure of out visit. Wish to visit again.
Excellent hospitality and Wonderful Stay

We were a group of 60 pax stayed at the resort 3 nights and 2 days recently.
The Resort is well maintained and the service of the people is excellent . in the night they have arranged a campfire for us. If you want to see Wild Elephant just wait around 9.30 pm , it will come to the entrance of this resort. Its close to Thirunelli Temple. The second day about 4.30 am on the way to Tholpetty We saw Leopard on road.
Every thing was well organised by Mr. Sameeran and Hospitality and Food arranged by Mr. Hashim. Thanks to All.
Once again in April we are planning to Visit Again

one of the quietest places to stay. And it's a must visit. It's most serene. It is situated overlooking the mountains. Vast and spacious. Rooms are clean. But a little old fashioned.Never mind that because the beauty of nature, the silence of the place , the food, the amenities , everything covers up for that. They have lovely sit outs and a big lawn. There are also indoor games if you are visiing with family or friends. They provide delicious kerala food. The chef makes food according to individual requests also. The staff is extremely cordial and helpful. the only shortcoming being lack of internet. which , you will not miss at all!! Nearby, there is a stream of pure water. The nights are v quite and v v close to nature. Its a great place to stay. Go for it. You will be very happy you chose this!!!
