Not like the pictures

We went there and the place was nothing like the pictures they publish. The pool was 1 km away from the apartment and the streets were almost impossible to drive with a non 4x4. The house was really nice and clean. Of course also if we called before at the time of arrival they sad that the booking was wrong but as we could speak Italian they have not managed to get more money from us.

The place is really nice but it is not what you see from the pictures so in the end a disappointment

immersed in the beautiful rolling Hills of tuscany this 1500 acre (600 hectares) agro-tourist complex is the perfect location for a memorable stay in a large estate with its peaceful and tranquil environment.Three large country houses of great character and beautifully restored stand in the middle of extensive vineyards and olive groves.They have been converted into self catering apartments of different sizes to meet each visitor's needs.Each apartment has been decorated to respect the character of the building with all modern conveniences for the visitor.While breakfast is available in the main house the fact that the visitors have their own kitchen means they can choose between visiting the many trattorias and restaurants in the area,renowned for their tuscan food,or make light meals for themselves This was perfect for i and my friends since we didnt want to be tied having to eat on the estate..It is within easy reach of many historic toiwns.Rapolana Terme with its Thermal baths is only2 kms away and Siena is 20 kms.
There are wonderful walks on the estate and a large swimming pool for guests.There are two lakes for fishing or picnics.
The estate produces a well known chianti wine,high quality olive oil and special charcuterie products typical of the area.Wifi is available

My favourite place in Italy!

We had a fantastic time here in September 2014. We stayed for 3 nights and fell i love with the place. Roberto was so lovely, and put on a wonderful breakfast every morning of fresh cheese and meats. The farm itself is so picturesque - olive trees on the hillsides with a beautiful turquoise pool at the bottom of the road. You are within driving distance to several 'hilltop' towns, including Montepulciano. Since it is a smaller town you are in, there are great, authentic restaurants to try too. To top it off, there were also the cutest kittens while we were there! I'm getting nostalgic just writing this review, and can't wait to go back one day!

Agriturismo par excellence!

We were happy to arrive at Tenuta Armaiolo and sad to leave. My wife and I had a wonderful time during our holiday there. We stayed for two weeks in July 2013.
First, we were treated as family. Nothing was too much for Roberto, the manager, and Gloria. On our arrival, we were welcomed with a bottle of the wine from grapes on the farm. The wine was delicious and any strain remaining from our drive from Florence was banished!
Tenuta Armaiolo is only minutes away from the gorgeous hot water spas of the small, attractive town of Rapolano. There are two separate spas, and we often enjoyed the warm waters of both.
Secondly, our accommodation in the farm, built in the 11th Century, left nothing to be desired. The breakfasts offered a varied choice and could be enjoyed either inside, in the barrel vaulted breakfast room, or outside, with stunning views towards Siena in the distance. Our room was serviced every day!
Tenuta Armaiolo is a real working farm, with wheat fields, olive groves, grape vines, a fishing lake and special highly prized Sienese pigs (La cinta senese). Ask Gloria to show you the pigs. They are a “must see”! All this local produce finds its way to the table as bread, olive oil, wine and prosciutto crudo! Delicious.
There is a beautiful swimming pool only about 500 m from the farm house we stayed in and right next door to the farm’s ancient chapel. There are larger apartments adjoining the swimming pool.
Tenuta Armaiolo is ideally placed, close to the highway, for tourists wishing to use Armaiolo as a base to tour Tuscany and the beautiful towns and villages around. It is only 20 mins by car from Siena!
We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We have already recommended Tenuta Armaiolo to our friends and we shall certainly make a point of going back there again.
We take away with us many pleasant memories of Armaiolo, Rapolano, Siena and of our stay in Tuscany as a whole.

We went there with bunch of friend for a long Bank holiday weekend. We had a very enjoyable time!
We would really like to recommend staying few days in this enchanting property surrounded by Olives trees fields.
Clean and friendly we couldn't expect a better welcoming from the stuf. The spacious, stylish rooms also made our staying a very pleasurable experience. Not to mention quality of food, the freshly served breakfast, the local olive oil and what they call Salumi di Cinta Senese...
Location was also excellent as it's an easy reach from Senia and other local daily tours including the thermal baths. We also enjoyed having a quite time relaxing around the swimming pool surrounded by trees!
