Perfect to visit Etna and the east coast of Sicily

This quaint agriturismo offers an ideal, practical and very cost effective solution for all those who want a base close to Etna and the surrounding towns and villages including, Catania, Aci Reale, Siracusa etc. It offers nice, ground floor, spacious accommodation in a rural area.
However the best thing about our experience was meeting the owner (the host) Michaele. He is a true gentleman. He made use feel comfortable, bought us fresh croissants every morning and helped us to plan out daily car tours around Sicily like a pro. This is not just another vacation rental. This is an unforgettable experience in itself. Highly recommended.

Hello,
i was with my family in this b&b from july 12th till july 15th this year and everithing was good. B&b is just renewed and you can have there the essential you need for your
stay. B&b is in a very quite area of the village but you can reach Trecastagni
downtown by car in few minutes. B&b is also in a strategig position to visit Etna
surrounding area or Catania City or Taormana & acireale coast. B&b has a privite
parking and owners are very helpfull. If you want you can also use a guest kitchen to cook some food, in case you do not want to exit at restaurant.
I read some negative feedback on this place but i disagree, my family overall judgement is positive.
Have a good trip in this b&b and in Trecastagni.

We re a couple which we have stayed here for a week. The ownerns are very sweet and helpful.. they made us feel at home and at ease instantly. The lodging is very relaxing and quiet, surrounded by nature and very close to Etna. They also prepared for us a nice breakfast every morning and the rooms were clean. Parking was also offered on site. A recommended place to stay for nature lovers and for tranquillity and a very good location. Will surely come back and we ll miss the friendly owners too!

The Perfect Place to stay close to Etna

The best thing about this stay was Michele (the host). We had never met such a great person. We arrived on foot and he was kind enough to come for us in the center with his car. He made us feel at home instantly and offered a very good breakfast. He also gave us maps of the area and the bus timetable. He offered us a lot of advice about the area and even phoned a taxi for us. At the end of our stay, he gave us a lift to a bus stop so that we would not have to walk with our luggage. For those who love nature, this is a perfect place to stay. It is close to Etna and surrounded by other similar dwellings. Our room was very clean and comfortable.Touring the area by foot is an experience in itself. We will surely return again!

Very good place to spend a night when you're having a trip in Etna area.
Location: perfect to visit Etna area (10-15 min drive from Rifugio Sapienza), 5 min drive from Nicolosi. Easy to find with/without a GPS. The road is good.
Rooms: nice. Not the best ones for those, who prefer luxury stay with lots of facilities like laundry, minibar, tv, etc. No air con (in our room).
Host: fantastic! Very nice family, eager to make your stay perfect. One of the best host we've ever met in Italy.
Breakfast: good, offered in the garden (coffee/tea and fresh pastry).
Wifi: good!
