sophie pon 19/10/2016 07:58This is the most wonderful place to stay. It's a secret that I'm afraid to share. I want to go back again and want to be sure that they have a room. The host is amazing. He is helpful knowledgeable and a good cook. He makes his own jams and is eager to share. Molto bene

I'm writing this review from my spacious, beautiful room at Ca' Giullietta after having eaten a delicious breakfast of organic, fresh squeezed juice, panini, yougurt, homemade jam, pastry and a perfect cappuccino. I often don't write a review but after only one night here felt I had to. Giorgio is gracious, welcoming and knowledgeable. The accommodations are top notch. The setting is heavenly and every detail attended to. I love staying at agrotourismos. It's a great way to meet people, stay in beautiful spots and see Italy from a different perspective. My husband and I are in our 60s and appreciate fine accommodations without the fussiness of hotels . I can't say enough great things about this place.
And oh yes, our Italian alarm clock is a beautiful rooster!
Welcoming gem outside of Verona
Laurie Con 01/10/2016 21:44We spent only one night at Ca'Giulietta but it would have been nice to spend longer. We were welcomed with wine and cheese, and an extremely helpful host. The room was large and while simply decorated in a Scandinavian sort of way, everything was good quality and very clean. An excellent bed and a spotless bathroom. The only thing I could imagine adding would be a comfortable chair to sit and read. A great multi-course breakfast in the morning, really good (which is saying something, as Italian breakfasts are not the culinary high point of this cuisine). It's a great base to see some wonderful towns or to visit Verona. Really a very pleasant experience with a host who wants his guests to be comfortable and happy.

Alice Lon 27/09/2016 21:43My husband and I started our vacation with a 3 night stay at this lovely agriturismo. We arrived early but Piergiorgio was very gracious and greeted us with juice, sandwiches and cookies along with a complimentary bottle of wine. The room was bright, immaculately clean and had a wonderfully comfortable bed. The bathroom was great and the breakfasts were phenomenal! Nothing was too much trouble for our host!
The location is great for day trips to Verona and Lake Garda. He also gave us great recommendations for dinner in Sommacompagna, what to see and do in Verona and where to go around Lake Garda. In addition he warned us of the tourist traps!
I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area!
Everything they said was true
Edmanvilleon 27/09/2016 21:36The owner and chef of this bed and breakfast is truly a knowledgeable and friendly person. The breakfasts left us wanting for nothing. All we needed was a piece of fruit or cup of gelato to hold us over to dinner. The two restaurants Giorgio
recommend in Sommacampagna were excellent. Reviews are forthcoming on these restaurants.
His recommendations in and around
Verona were right on the mark. He steered us away from the touristy places and let us see the Italy he himself enjoys. When we return to this area to go to the surrounding wineries, there is only one place we would stay.
