Not at all what you expected
Xander Oon 08/02/2017 15:15The place has a ton of mosquitos during the summer month and really not a place to relax. Rooms are quite small and the breakfast was all but a country style but mostly products you can purchase at any grocery stores. I decided to cut short the stay since I could no longer take the place. Basically to avoid if you don't like mosquitos
A homestay in nature
Layne Lon 26/10/2016 05:50We really loved staying here, the homegrown strawberries were amazing! We loved exploring the property with all its fig trees, stone fruit and vineyards. We looooooved the red wine (and we aren't normally red drinkers) and took a bottle home with us to Australia. Federico was very helpful and informative. He told us a bit of the history of Bologna and Rastignano (pronounced rast-in-yah-noh, this helped us with the bus drivers). He also gave us the hot tip about the music museum in Bologna which was amazing! It was very easy to get to Bologna from here by bus. He gave us some good foodie tips too, Al Cuntadein is walking distance and has amazing pizza and seafood and the staff are really nice. Everyone in the area was very helpful and friendly, when we weren't sure what bus to catch a lady helped us even though she didn't speak any English and we didn't speak any Italian, it was so fun! We only wish we could have stayed longer!
Very good and beautiful nature
Yifat Ron 25/04/2016 11:57We stayed in the new house that was recently built. Its a piece of paradise just 15 minutes from Bologna. Much more convenient than staying in a small room in a hotel in the center of Bologna (which we tried first)

dc2150on 24/01/2016 21:30Very large, comfortable room in a lace that looks pretty new. Great location. The bus into Bologna is so easy, just a short walk away. . Good restaurants are an easy drive. The host was really nice and helpful. Good value.
Quiet and far from the bussle
WildKatzon 02/04/2015 10:14I have stayed here over the years with my family for 1-2 night stays. It is far from most Bologna sites (requires a cab or car). The proprietor is very welcoming and accommodating. It is quiet and low key. The breakfasts are just what you need to start the day. There are books everywhere for you bibliophiles. We have taken many hikes out the back door through the Italian countryside.
