Disappointing
Jewels Ron 27/09/2016 21:02Don't understand all the positive comments. This place was very disappointing. Overlooks a correctional institution. View from the terrace is a half completed concrete structure. Breakfast was extremely basic. On the other hand the room was clean and the owner made a nice gesture by giving us a jar of homemade marmalade and fig jam on departure. No English spoken.
Lovely house, very friendly owners, great food & location
Eithne G Gon 01/09/2012 15:04We are from Ireland and stayed here for 5 nights. We had little or no Italian and the owners had little English. But this didn't cause a problem - between our phrase book and the owner's Google Translate we were fine. The house itself is lovely, the rooms are simple and clean and comfortable. It's in a great location, just a 5 minute drive into Oristano and perfect to use as a base for exploring the Sinis peninsula. The breakfasts each morning were simple and tasty. We had dinner in the house one evening and it was delicious - 4 courses and lots of wine and was really good Sardinian cooking. The owners are lovely - really friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier. Definitely a place worth staying, even if you don't speak Italian
