More hotel than agriturismo!
Josie Con 16/04/2014 12:16La Targa Florio is in a quiet location with ample private parking. The agriturismo seems more like a structure with small private houses and a main building with restaurant, bar, lounge etc. The room was nice. Breakfast was good. We had dinner and it was great!
non cosi' consigliabile
Tiziana Con 21/09/2013 09:45we were 5 people in 2 rooms. Stayed for 2 nights. The rooms are nice and clean but the bathrooms smells maybe because there wasn't a window. Alot off crowly little animals and last night we were invated with cocrogies. If someone is going there take sprays with you.
At the reasturant was all clean and the food very good especially the pizza.

maloo78on 25/04/2013 15:23We have stayed in this agriturismo for 2 nights. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, but the bathroom had two problems (the support for the showerhead broke off, and the tap of the bidet did not close, so you had to wash yourself with running water, instead of filling the bowl). Since the nights were a bit fresh, we used the aircondition for heating, which worked fine. The only Thing that worried us were the cracks in the walls of the room. Maybe there had been an earthquake, but the structure did not seem that reliable anymore. The structure seemed to have been freshly renovated, but either the damage happened after the renovation, or they only painted over it.
The position of the place is easy to find and quiet at night, and the landscape around is beautiful. However, it seems that in the off season, some works are being neglected and the place looked a little bit in disarray.
The food, well, we expected it to be great according to other reviews here. I do not want to argue about the pizza, because here tastes and preferences differ greatly. But the menue we had did not seem to be entirely fresh, but rather left-overs from the day before. The shrimp-cocktail tasted acrid, and the fish tasted like the barbecue-lighter (these little white cubes one uses to start a fire). Therefore, we cancelled our menue and took a pizza instead. To us it was not a great pizza, but merely ok.
Maybe we were unlucky or it was due to the off-season, but we were quite disappointed by the food offered, so that we decided to eat out on the second evening at "Nasca 2", just down the road.
Perfect location if travelling by car.
Chamicon 30/01/2013 13:13Perfect location in the countryside if travelling by car and to visit beautiful Parco Delle Madonie. Good and abundant food, life entertainment on Saturday evening while you can dine and dance. Safe large parking space and rooms spotlessly clean. Will use this agriturismo again in near future.
