Perfect stay in Marche countryside

This is the second time that we stayed here. The rooms are spacious and the price is right at 57€. The dinner and staff round out the stay well, very friendly and helpful. Eating at Pietra Maula is a pleasure with local plates and quality cooking. To top it off, on our way out, I was gifted a bottle of local wine!

My review is long-overdue. I have stayed in Pietra Maula Agriturismo three times now, and can safely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a very relaxing and delicious get-away!

This family-run business is beautifully kept, and the siblings Alessandra and Andrea, as well as their mother and grandmother make you feel at home. The rooms of the Agriturismo (B&B) are recently restored, in ideal condition and very clean. There is air conditioning, the bathrooms are very spacious and beautiful, and the rooms themselves large and with plenty of storage space and light. The windows of the rooms overlook the courtyard and the restaurant. Most rooms are regular double rooms, but there are at least a couple of apartments which are ideal for families and larger parties. Breakfast, served outside in the warmer months and inside in the cold months, consists of coffee (any kind you like) and tea (again, large selection), and freshly baked pies and cakes, such as lemon cake, cherry crostata, chocolate-chip-and-walnut cake, and many more.

There are lots of animals running around- at least three dogs, a couple of cats, some hens and a peacock. For those who like animals, it's a pleasure- for those who don't: the animals do not go inside the restaurant and do not go close to the rooms, so, you won't be bothered by them. They are adorable, though, and all incredibly friendly and absolutely child-friendly.

The restaurant is open to guests outside the B&B also, and the Chef is wonderful. I have had dinner and lunch here many times, and particularly loved their grilled meat, their grilled vegetables (zucchini and aubergines), meat cuts, cold cut with fresh figs and pine nuts, pasta with wild boar and truffles, chickpeas, lentils, potato salad, and fresh raspberry tart. We recently celebrated a birthday party at a friends' house, not far from here, and Pietra Maula Agriturismo did the catering. They were wonderful, and the food - as ever - amazing.

Set, truly, in the middle of the countryside, there are no shops, restaurants, or cities nearby (walking distance) - you will need a car if you want to go anywhere. This is the perfect place for a relaxing, secluded get-away. Having experienced all four seasons here, I can say that it's magically snowy in the winter, filled with flowers in the Spring, a sea of sunflowers in the summer and a wine-lover's heaven in the Fall.

An extremely available and 24/7 smiling crew who knows how to treat hosts!! A very warm and special thanks to Alessandra and the chef who prepared the most delicious meals ever!! My stomach misses you!!

Anyone willing to be greatly welcomed, have hearty food and drinks, surrounded by cute animal farm and a gorgeous hilly landscape should go visit this agriturismo. Alessandra and her family are among the nicest hosts I have met, and I hope they will keep this fantastic atmosphere.
