Fantastic on all levels
on 15/05/2017 12:53The hotel is secluded and has beautiful views. The staff are so friendly and cater to all your needs. I stayed here whilst pregnant and they satisfied all my midnight cravings of nutella and toast! The hotel is so clean niche and small. I love the authentic design of the rooms- it wasn't just a standard posh clean white hotel room / they showed character and the spirit of the Mediterranean.
Areas for improvement: different range of food for breakfast ( the same thing every morning was a bit tedious) and perhaps a light food/drinks service for sunbathing by the pool and in the evenings.
Lovely hotel with friendly staff
Timws88on 09/10/2016 22:39We stayed at this lovely hotel after seeing a number of positive reviews before booking and we were not disappointed.
The only negatives we would report would be that the room was slightly tired and the bathroom was quite small.
However, the room we had did have a fantastic view of the sea from our balcony and overlooked the swimming pool.
The hotel is full of character, particularly the breakfast area which has a fantastic spacious feel and interesting design.
The hotel location is great and is about a 15 minute walk to the harbour area where most of the restaurants are found. We hired bikes a couple of days and enjoyed cycling along the coast to the beautiful but very stony beaches around picturesque Sutivan via the olive groves (strongly recommend jelly shoes for swimming in the crystal clear waters).
Finally, we would particularly like to highlight how fantastic the staff were. They all made a real effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay with their very friendly and helpful attitude.
Hotel in beautiful setting but needs a internal restyling
Esther1606on 22/09/2016 17:23This hotel is perfectly situated at the coast just outside Supetar. We have been very satisfied with the service of the staf, also everything was very clean and tidy. There is no dinner served and breakfast is very basic.
What struck us most is the fact that the rooms fit out is very outdated, not only furniture but also bathroom realy needs a restyling. For example; my husband is a tall guy (1.95m) and besides the fact that he needed to shower in the bath tub. the shower head was mounted on a too short cable so he cound't even stand up straight on showering. Also the fitness was fitted out with "ancient" equimpent.
also take into consideration that the rooms are quit noisy, we litterly could follow conversations of the people staying next door.....
The reasom why we have rated the place average is to be found in the fact that price / quality due to this out dated style and fitness does not bring the value one has to pay for staying in this aparthotel.
Quiet, relaxed and friendly place to stay
Niki Hon 10/09/2016 13:28Located a short walk outside of the main Centre (15 minutes walk to the harbour), the hotel is situated on a small bay with swimming area and beach.
You can walk along the sea front or into town easily - and actually there is a beautiful coastal walk to Mirca (and even Sutivan if you fancy a longer stroll, this is about 3.5 miles).
The hotel have a couple of bikes you can borrow if you want to take it a little easier.
The staff are very friendly and helpful - plenty of good recommendations for dinner. Mirela was particularly accommodating throughout our stay.
Accommodation itself is generally stylish and refined (traditional island stone), particularly the hot tub area, pool area and breakfast room.
Bedrooms are good, though the bright colours may be off putting for some (we liked it). All rooms have an outside space to sit out - this area is bigger in the apartments but we had a room but it was still good.
I think apartments have a kitchen area, but the rooms don't. In fact one point was no kettle in the rooms (which for the Brits might be an issue!).
Facilities wise there is a (very) small gym (treadmill, bike and weights), they can organise a massage, a hot tub area (lovely) and a small pool with seating (a slight current means that you can swim slowly and not move!) and a jacuzzi section.
The beach is just off the pool - so very quick access.
Breakfast is a good selection - breads, cheese / meats, pastries, cereals and fruit etc and suited us. Also there is fruit and homemade cake available throughout the day :-)
