Quiet gem

Daphna Hon 25/07/2017 23:30The hotel is very clean and well managed. It's not in the city center, but there is always staff available to call you a cab to get there for 3.5 euro/ride. As a very big bonus, the hotel has a parking lot with plenty of spaces for anyone who plans to rent a car (which most tourists in Slovenia seem to do.)
The breakfast buffet has a very nice selection (fresh fruit, waffles, cheeses, meats, breads, cut up vegetables, cereal, yogurt, and granola, etc.) The food is constantly being refilled by staff, so there's never need to worry about running out of a particular dish.
I also want to mention how incredibly helpful the staff was, especially Klemen, who works the front desk. We were always greeted with a smile and were offered suggestions on local restaurants and our daily itineraries. But Klemen really went above and beyond the call of duty when he offered to help us with some car trouble we were having. He even encouraged us to enjoy our breakfast while he fixed the problem with his own bare hands. His concern and caring far exceeded any expectations - he's a real first-class guy!
Lovely Hotel with very helpful staff and easy parking
alsgalBrighouseon 23/07/2017 11:22This hotel was very easy to reach by car from the motorway. The room, breakfast and service were excellent. Staff on Reception were always pleasant and helpful, for example, I asked if we could have two extra pillows and after a quick call to the housekeeping staff the pillows were in our room two minutes later, before we were - now that's service!!
We used the local Laguna tax service into the city centre and never had to wait more than 5 minutes.
The pleasant outdoor terrace was a bonus in the hot weather and aircon was efficient and quiet . Would certainly use this hotel again.
NB The hotel does have a lift, although I'm not sure it says so on the website.
Excellent accommodation
Valeria Aon 22/07/2017 10:46We are very pleased that we picked this hotel out of all the options for our family trip across Slovenia, Italy and Croatia. The parking is a huge advantage, as well as the location of the hotel, which is close both to the city center and to the highway. We travelled everywhere, feeling like rolling stones, but always coming back home to the cleanliness and lightness of our beds - simply amazing! The room was perfect for us 3. My son of 9 was in love with the hotel! The welcoming staff, proper breakfast with self-made waffles, the cosy terrace, where you can order a decent pizza with tuna, btw. Well, don't know where to finish with my expressions of love and gratitude to the staff - thank you, guys! You made our trip 10 times better than we expected! Slovenia is in our hearts forever, and we will be back!))
Very friendly staff
Bridget Non 21/07/2017 22:30The staff on reception in particular could not have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Pleasant walk (about 10 mins) to bus stop and short bus journey to centre. We picked this hotel as it had outside space to enjoy breakfast etc. Overall experience excellent.
