SallyHMansfieldon 06/07/2017 08:42We booked the hotel for a one night stay based on the TA reviews. And I always go on RECENT reviews and the 'average' rating comments.
This is a lovely hotel. It is beautifully wedged between some of the most magnificent scenery that I have ever seen. It is also far enough away from the tourist centre to give you free parking and peaceful surrounds.
Superior Hotel room was small but well appointed. Lots of towels and toiletries etc. the room was on the second floor so we left a balcony door open for fresh air. No mozzies up that high. There ARE mozzies. Big ones.
Service good. Everyone is helpful and smiling.
Breakfast -- don't expect a healthy type breakfast. The fruit salad was aging and sad. The fresh squeezed orange juice, the BEST almond croissants and continental meats and boil your own egg were a good protein/carb hit prior to going up the mountain.
Coffee -- 3 out of 5.
Can't comment on the restaurant as we ate dinner elsewhere.
We would come back.

Suzan Don 02/07/2017 03:44This Hotel had everything - a small family owned and operated hotel that takes great pride in what they do. The hotel itself was immaculate, the grounds beautifully maintained, just minutes from Chamonix but without the crowd, and views that cannot be beat. Sit by the heated pool and look straight up at a glacier. The price included a spectacular breakfast buffet each morning in the dining room looking out at the mountains. Dinners were outstanding - the best French wines, local cheeses and, my favorite, the dessert buffet. We ate there every evening of our 3 night stay. The cable car from Chamonix up the Aiguille Du Midi is a short distance from here. And a short trip from here is the beautiful lakeside town of Annecey.
Fantastic Hotel
421Traveler_123on 10/04/2017 12:03We stayed for two nights at this fantastic hotel on a long weekend and we were enthralled. It's charming, well maintained and an experience all of its own. The family that operate the hotel are friendly and attentive and the views are stunning. The restaurant alone is worth the visit. A must book if available so plan ahead!

DontgotoNIKAon 26/03/2017 19:50Just spent a fabulous week at this lovely hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for Carla and her team. The hotel is close to the main road to Chamonix but you can not hear it. The scenery is stunning - a covering of snow this morning. The restaurant is great for breakfast and evening meal - the Chef's forte is Tartare du Boeuf, but I also recommend the Salad du Soliel. Good Plat du Jour and all reasonable priced. Highly recommended.
Wonderful hotel
Karen Don 08/03/2017 23:05This hotel was chosen for us as part of our snowshoeing holiday package and I really can't fault it. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms immaculate and clean. Breakfast - loved the fresh orange juicer and the egg boiler and the pastries were delicious - any leftovers offered in the bar with afternoon coffee!!
The evening meals were also delicious. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It had been a bit cloudy the few days we were there but the clear view of the mountains at breakfast on our last morning - simply breathtaking 😊
