Great spot to stay
Deucesmomon 20/08/2017 17:10When I can find a smaller hotel and not a chain that has good reviews I always try to stay. You just get a nice homier feel and Aiken Lodge did not disappoint. Quaint, throwback feel but spotless and comfy. Love being able to pull right up to the room and park. Ashley, the front desk manager was helpful, kind as can be, warm and friendly. The hotel pool was filled with guests obviously enjoying a dip in the refreshing pool.
Really can't wait to go back.
Extremely clean with a cool, retro feel
Amber Mon 15/08/2017 04:17My husband and I stayed the night here after visiting the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Kanab is a charming little town surrounded by picturesque views. We came into town around sunset, and pulled into Aikens's Lodge for a much needed rest. Our first impression was that we were reminded old motor-coach hotel from a 60s-70s movie. Everything is perfectly preserved, and has a vibe that is definitely unique.
This is not a high luxury establishment with high tech amenities, but you will find a clean room and a unique experience if you stay here. It is worth a try if you are open-minded. I would definitely stay here again.
Good stay but a littel outdated
devosdjamaldon 08/08/2017 08:47Overall we had a good 1 night stay in a 3 bed bedroom on the second floor.
Room is a little outdated. AC is not sufficiant for the whole volume of the room and very loud.
Morning coffee, tea and juice available. Nice pool.
An overall good stay. Old AC units, not sufficient
John Kon 04/08/2017 20:29One of the most reasonably priced hotels in the area. Clean room and bathroom, plenty of parking available, breakfast included...but very limited selection. Good wifi connectivity. The only issue we had was the AC Unit was not keeping up with the heat wave. The AC units at this place are "antiquated" and they need to be replaced. We stayed in some other hotels during this heat wave and the AC units there were just fine.
Quiet and clean.
Regina Don 26/07/2017 19:35We had problems on the road and didn't arrive until nearly midnight; when I called to let the owner know she was friendly and helpful, and everything we needed to get checked in was waiting when we got there. Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had one of the quietest A/C units I've ever heard in a hotel. The room was also wheelchair accessible. Breakfast was bread products and fruit, so if you have celiac (or can't eat wheat/gluten for other reasons) be prepared. If we ever stop in Kanab again we'll definitely stay at Aikens.
