A nice hotel but unacceptable wireless

The room was very nice - big room, great bemds - and a nice shower. The breakfast is great and the staff, espeically the breakfast staff were all great The area is also good for dinner as this palce dowes not do evening meals.
My job requires good Internet access and here it was poor I can not get to my mail, and the sites I need to get to are inaccessible I ended up spending a fortune using my phone to access the Internet
For a holiday I'/d come again. But for work, I'll stay elsewhere
Hidden GEM in Germany!
emoore1973on 03/07/2017 22:08This was our first trip ever to Europe and I can't image finding any where else better to stay than at the Air Hotel Royal. Owner Michael and family, Sandra, Maximillion, Hildegurd and staff (Christa) come to mind that made our stay just the best. We felt like family and treated so kindly! We were given many tips concerning the area, places to visit, to eat and information about what to expect to find. The room was clean and bright with a great view of the courtyard. In the mornings you could hear the church bells ringing, it was beautiful. A great breakfast to wake up to, much to choose from. A great dining staff with a friendly hello and pot of coffee waiting on you! Great location as we were able to take day trips and visit Belgium, France and the Netherlands. A two day trip to Bavaria to the Neuschwanstien castle. If we were to have a chance to go back to Europe I would certainly start my trip with another stay with Michael and family!
Wonderful hotel!
Jeffrey Con 28/05/2017 09:52This was a wonderful four-day stay for my family and I. I came to work over at Ramstein (10 min drive) and was greeted and checked in to the hotel in under 10 minutes. When we arrived, we were told that we had been upgraded to be in one of the apartment-style rooms because we had our two year old son with us and Michael wanted us to be able to enjoy our stay. The room was huge and had one and a half bathrooms. There were two televisions, a full kitchen with utensils and pots and pans, a small dining table and a pack and play bed for my son. There were also laundry machines with soap provided to be able to wash clothes which came in handy for me. Michael had extra towels put in the room for bathing our son and there was great little courtyard out the back of our room where our son could go outside and play. The internet was fast enough to stream movies on Netflix and this hotel just had a great overall atmosphere. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to all travelers coming to the area!
Highly Recommend - Great people and atmosphere
uttravel1978on 01/05/2017 19:40We booked this by chance and glad that we did. First time to this location in Germany. The owners and staff were wonderful and were easy to communicate with (they know their English well). The breakfasts are amazing. The rooms were quaint with nice views. The location allows you to walk to a variety of restaurants, shops and the castle on the ridge. Very close to the autobahn, Raimstein AF Base and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.

jdjmron 08/04/2017 23:27This is a great hotel with wonderful service. Michael's a great guy to work with, and the rest of the staff are just as friendly. The breakfast was typical German with cooked to order eggs if you should want them. Clean rooms, great service...I'll definitely be back. Thanks.
