Convenient and close to harbour
Sandy56Melbourneon 11/04/2017 05:49We had to stay here as we were evacuated from Hayman prior to the cyclone. We had a seafacing room but we didn't haven't much choice as there wasn't a lot available due to the cyclone. The rooms are basic but with all the amenities. The best thing was Renae at Reception who was a wealth of knowledge, so patient and helpful in this unpredictable time! She told us where to eat and helped with organising transport, etc - thank you Renae!
The hotel is situated very close to the harbour and you can easily walk there with luggage. The place was fairly quiet and easy to walk to everywhere.

HeidiandKeith26on 09/04/2017 10:04Well located hotel in Airlie Beach. We were lucky enough to check into a Standard Ocean Room and it did not disappoint. Loved waking up every morning to the view it had on offer. Room was large, with a balcony and had all normal amenities.
We seemed to be on the quiet end of Airlie Beach and were walking distance to everywhere.
Swimming Pool was a little on the warm side, and no shade was offered on to the pool.
There is laundry facilities that are coin operated
We dined at Capers on the Esplanade for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and again found that to have a large variety of options and convenient being right next door.
Otherwise it's a small walk to the left to all other dining options - There is restaurants everywhere!
We booked 2 outings through reception and found them helpful enough - lots of brochures inside reception. The Ferry terminal is a good 5 minute walk to the right.
Will definitely stay here again if i am fortunate enough to return to Airlie Beach
Great location, not much else
rosiem333on 05/04/2017 13:15This place was absolutely fine. We got a really great deal for this hotel so on that basis my rating could have been higher. But overall this hotel was in an amazing location but very functional. Twin room was well sized and everything worked but there was nothing over and above that made it special.
Service was patchy - some lovely new staff others a little less helpful.

Piers Fon 05/04/2017 09:28Well located hotel in central Airlie Beach. A short walk to all shops, lagoon,hire places and trip bookings We had an ocean view room with a balcony for warm evenings. Pool is smaller than it looks on the photos but good for a cooling, you can always go to the lagoon.

Beach2260on 05/04/2017 01:11Loved staying at Airlie Beach Hotel. It has the best location of any accommodation in Airlie. Five minute walk from the cruise terminal where we had gotten the ferry over from Hamilton Island and at the quieter end of town but still a minutes walk from all the action. We stayed in the penthouse suite which was beautiful and had fabulous views out to the islands.
