What People are saying

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, STAY HERE!

You get what you pay for including, a dead squirrel by the pool that was there for the 2 days I was, in 104 temperature even after bringing it to the attention of the front desk. Additionally, there was no one around to see that a kid vomited on the side of the pool and clean it up. Also reported. The room was marginally clean, at best. Saw housekeeping once while there 2 nights - they could have been my grandparents and I'm 65. The only thing I can say good is the bed was comfortable, although I kept looking for bedbugs. Needless to say, I stayed out of the room except to sleep.

Avoid at all costs airport plaza inn and convention

Booked 1 night and taking flight in am...filthy dirty, bugs in corner. Checked TripAdvisor prior to and comments were mixed...I am sure now that the excellent to good rating were posted by employees that work there as this is the lowest rating 1star I could recommend and all I really care about is a clean place to sleep. I do not care that it was dated ect...it was quite dirty everywhere halls, bathroom, floors etc..my advise is pay a little extra and stay at a more reputable hotel chain. Trust me it was not worth the $25 we saved by staying there. Hope this helps someone else avoid a miserable experience!

Not good

Old Hotel. Pretty much everything is outdated. Staff was not very friendly. My room was a very, very long was away from the reception area. walking around several dark, long Hallways before finally finding my room. I'am sure that a long time ago this was a Palace but now it is in need of some serious updating, Training for the staff. A smile goes a long way. Breakfast is very limited. They ran pretty much out of everything by 8am. I did get some coffee though. To make it short. Don't stay there.

Stay ANYWHERE But Here

I understand that I stayed at a hotel that was priced much lower than regular name brand hotels, and I now completely understand the phrase "you get what you pay for".

I was trying to get back to Kansas City after a trip to Detroit, and missed my connecting flight in St. Louis due to some miscommunication from Southwest Airlines. SW gave me a distressed traveler "coupon". When I called the number it said no hotel rooms were available. My friend finds this hotel on Expedia and at midnight the $80 price seemed okay since we were mad and tired and without anywhere to go.

We waited for the hotel's sad shuttle for half an hour when we called and they said it would be there in 5 minutes. When we arrived at the hotel no one was manning the front desk. We were assigned a room on the second, where the rooms were numbered in the 3000s. Again it's midnight, I'm exhausted, I'm shlepping around my heavy luggage, and there is NO ELEVATOR. This place is a maze and the layout of the hotel makes no sense. We get to our room, the microwave appears to be from 1975, and my friend finds blood in the sheets on her bed. BLOOD.

We call the front desk and asked to be moved. No one comes to help with our luggage and we are forced to wind around again through the maze. We somehow end up outside and farther away from the front desk than when we started.

We are given a new room on the first floor, which is numbered in the 4000s and the entire floor smells like marijuana.

As we settle in to finally sleep, someone comes in to our. A STRANGER COMES IN TO OUR ROOM BECAUSE THEY GAVE OUR ROOM AWAY. I get out of bed and say "hello?" And some guy is like "Oh sorry they must have given me the wrong key." Yes we had forgotten to lock the deadbolt, as we were frustrated and exhausted, but someone should not have been able to get into our room without a key. Which they had. I go to call the front desk and the PHONE doesn't work. I check the cord and the phone line will not fit into the wall plug because the outlet is WARPED. This is all very suspicious.

My friend complained to both the hotel and Expedia multiple times and nobody would help her. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Spend the extra $50 and stay somewhere halfway normal. I've learned a lesson and will never stay in an offbrand hotel ever again.

NOT WORTH IT.

The photo I attached is a picture of the dirty sheets on the bed in our first room.

Worst Hotel in the World

coachvaughn50on 26/06/2017 22:48

This was the worst hotel I've ever seen. There were bugs everywhere, pills under the bed mattress, carpet was filthy, hadn't been vacuumed and the place smelled moldy. There was no way me and my family were going to stay here. We demanded a refund and promptly left. They need to be shut down.
