Jari Kon 16/08/2017 12:12I was in work trip and spent at this hotel couple of hours before my next flight. Rooms are clean, breakfast was excellent and room service was good. This was my second time in this hotel and if I will travel at PNG again I will choose this hotel again.

The hotel is ideally located within a few minutes of the airport, the standard to service from the staff was great as were the facilities, more to the point the roof top Vue restaurant and Bacchus restaurant were very very good. I would highly recommend the menu at Bacchus! The rooms in the Dakota wing of the hotel are excellent. The hotel is atypical of a 5 star, not too big and has a very homely feel, the staff particularly are very warm and friendly. It was the perfect place to come back to after a day at work. I would highly recommend the hotel if you are looking for a relaxed and luxurious stay.
Truly 5 Stars in PNG
MikeBirdmanon 13/08/2017 21:47We stayed at Airways on three separate occasions during our visit to PNG. It is close to the airport up the hill but in a quiet area and with no noise from the airport.
There are gates to the hotel and it feels completely safe inside.
Excellently trained and helpful staff. The public areas are all very elegant. On two occasions, we had a smaller room that was fine but needs some updating which I understand is in hand. On the third time, we were given a much larger and truly luxurious room; very modern with glass enclosed overhead shower. The service throughout the hotel was truly 5 star.
There is a gym out the back of the hotel and I swam in the pool there (not to be confused with the small pretty pool near the restaurant). The gym was a fantastic facility. Great changing rooms with lockers, towels. The pool is large for a hotel and when I went late afternoon on a Saturday I was the only swimmer.
The breakfast buffet was excellent. There are smoothies, fresh pierced coconuts for milk, good and fresh fruit selection, and assorted cooked dishes that changed on different days we were there. At this same buffet restaurant, dinner was OK except the night we encountered the Indian evening and that was excellent.

Out of the world facilities, the views of air crafts taking off and landing are wonderful, Huge rooms, excellent net connectivity, wonderful food, Efficient and fantastic service. Never a dull moment. Enjoyed my stay.
Best hotel in PNG
dhviolaon 07/08/2017 21:39I was in and out of the Airways several times during the course of a 16 day birding trip to PNG.
I have nothing but good to say. The rooms were excellent, the service impeccable and the restaurants very good. It was always a relief to escape the poverty and chaos and come to the oasis of cleanliness and relaxation. Excellent hotel.
