Exceptional team of staff at an affordable rate for the small room
Margaret Mon 13/04/2017 10:22Fast Hotel gave us the opportunity to go to Vimy 100th anniversary ceremony. Only 20 minutes from the Memorial Vimy. The staff are exceptional in their service and knowledge of the area. The low nightly rate is equivalent to the small rooms, there are no surprises. It is a great and safe place to rest our eyes after a busy visit to Vimy. Thank you
Bedbugs
A8130CApaulmon 11/04/2017 11:06The stay was tainted by one of the rooms being infested with bed bugs or fleas. Absolutely infested. The staff were powerless or reluctant to assist and only offered partial recompense. This was totally unacceptable.
Okay if at the correct price
Connor Lon 03/02/2017 23:59We stayed here for three nights during EURO 2016. As another hotel let us down at the last minute, we were forced to find something and this was the only hotel available. Our triple room was tiny. It literally is just three beds (one bunk bed) and the bathroom is something you would find on an aeroplane! If you book in advance, then it would be fine. But, we ended up paying 450 euros for three nights and it certainly wasn't worth it. The staff were friendly enough and helped out with what they could. Not an awful lot in the immediate area either.
Ripp-off during EURO
Zurichsfunon 21/09/2016 10:05We booked this Hotel during the EURO via Hotels.com. But when we arrived there the manager told us that our reservation is not valid. Due to the fact that we didn't have any real alternatives (we arrived there late in the evening) we had to book another room for double the price. The same happened to other guests we spoke to. I'm still working together with Hotels.com to get my money back.
The hotel itself is cheap but clean. The location is totally outside of Lens and you need a taxi to get there.

john fon 19/08/2014 15:56the new manager has just started and he knew my name even before I told him, he offered us free breakfast and waved us off. he speaks perfect english having lived in wimbledon for a few years. very clean hotel.
