Falls a bit short

Nice family run hotel, Costas, Spiros and the team will see to your every need and everywhere kept very clean. Rooms cleaned daily, clean towels and bedding.

On the plus side, lovely atmosphere, great location for beach and tavernas, very nice pool and bar area.

On the minus side, rooms in need of updating, bathroom damp, poor plumbing ( even by Greek standards!), breakfast very basic and noise from bars opposite is not exaggerated! We were in room on ground floor just the width of the narrow street from the speakers which bang out loud music until early hours. You can muffle it by closing all doors and putting on aircon but not great if you like an early night!

No tea or coffee facilities in room so you have to wait until breakfast at 8.00am for s hot drink.

Arillas is a lovely resort, great beach and tavernas. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our trip but would have reservations about this hotel if we go again.

Great week at the Akti

This was our first stay at this Hotel, it is a perfect location for the bars, Taverna's and the beach. It has its own great bar pool and restaurant all run by a very friendly family who will do their up most to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and are spotlessly clean, although our towels where only changed once during our weeks stay, our only other little niggle was the size of the bathroom/shower room it was a little on the small side when you are 6ft 5" tall, but putting that to one side overall it was a great place to stay, and thanks to all the staff at the Akti Arilla!!

Our fourth stay at this hotel run by Costas and the family. Great central location just two minutes from the beach. It also has a nice pool which is useful when it's too windy or too hot on the beach.

Brilliant stay here, a fantastic friendly hotel, thank you to costas, spiros, helen & Catrina and family who all work so hard to make this a lovely place to stay, the rooms are very clean, cleaned everyday and linen changed every other day, there are a couple of noisy bars but if you have the air con on and shut the doors you can't hear it, we asked to move rooms and got changed to a better quiet room which was perfect , the beach is beautiful and only 80 metres away, all the food in any of the restaurants or the hotel is lovely, the sea is perfectly clear - hopefully we'll come back soon, we had a walk today to agios georgious beach which was well worth the short walk and the views were amazing x

Arrived back from Akti Arillas today. What a lovely family run hotel. The rooms are more than suitable with plenty of space in the wardrobe. The pool area is very pretty and the loungers and sofas are very comfy. We were at the front of the hotel and so there was noise from the bars just across, but, as we have been to Arillas previously we weren't put off and after plenty of sea air and a couple of wines we didn't care. The hotel was very clean and everyone was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
