Good location for visiting castle
Shannon Won 28/09/2016 01:30This is an ideal hotel if you need a place to stay after visiting Schloss Lichtenstein. The staff is very friendly, but it is a somewhat no frills hotel. We upgraded to the castle view room and I don't believe that it was worth the extra cost. If we went out to the balcony and looked hard through the trees we could see it, but I wouldn't really call it a view room.
The restaurant was quite nice and there was a cute little stream running through the grounds. There is also ample parking.
Beautiful hotel
Jennifer Ton 06/07/2016 20:41Everything about this hotel is well done. Room is comfortable, views are stunning. Everything was clean and spacious....except the shower. Warning, it's a small shower and the shower door opens in and makes it VERY tight to squeeze a body that's not pencil thin in the corner to allow the door to shut. Just be forewarned :) Otherwise, it's a great hotel.
Trouts in all forms
Dr Hermann Jose... Ton 10/04/2016 17:10This trout restaurant is a real culinary attraction. Service is very helpful, the menu very diverse. Even if they have trout in all forms - baked, fried, smoked, in terrine, they also have good salads, meat. It is well done, nicely served - in reasonable time - and really good food. When weather is warm and sunny, there are also tables outside to enjoy the view of the Castle and the Suabian Albs. Lovely.
Amazing hotel and dinning
JJK964on 13/12/2015 09:19We stayed for a weekend in this fabulous 4 star hotel. The area, location and layout are amazing. The Hotel/restaurant are run by a Rainbow Trout fish farm Company and the food is simple high quality at great pricing in a comfortable and warm environment.
The hotel and restaurant staff are friendly and very accommodating, definitely a great experience, especially as we traveled with three kids.
The hotel sits below the Lichtenstein Castle and is minutes away from the beautiful city of Reutlingen. People in this region are very friendly.
A great weekend get away location with amazing connection to nature.

H Lon 16/11/2015 17:30We had a great view of the castle and a really big room. The staff were friendly. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was really good and great value. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would recommend it.
