Small yet cozy
sugarhunton 11/05/2017 10:49Not sure whether this is true but I was informed by my husband that this hotel is the only hotel in Dorsten since it is a small town, anyway we both find this hotel clean and equipped with the basic necessities so it is indeed a recommended hotel to stay in. The breakfast range is limited, so if you come down late for your breakfast, there's no new refill to replenish the run-out items e.g. scrambled eggs, bacons, etc. Personally, I love the natural raw honeycomb and elder flower jelly that they serve in breakfast.
In overall, we find this hotel a nice place to stay even though it's far from town, to access you might need to take taxi to reach. If there's improvement that I need to suggest, I hope the staff that work over there can be a bit more efficient in terms of handling customer check out in a quicker manner instead of letting other customers to interrupt during the particular check-out process.

Clean, very friendly, telephone is answered very quickly for pre-arrival queries, Room is practical.
For what one pays the hotel is more than adequate. What I stay here for my holidays? No ... but I would for one night.

EJNutzon 10/12/2015 19:09From the moment we arrived at the hotel the staff were polite and very friendly. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice with cold meets, cheese and breads. There was plenty other food on offer such as eggs, bacon, cake, fruit etc.
we stayed in a Penthouse suite. This was very roomy and ideal for a family. However the drawback to this is it is advertised as an annex. However the room is a 5 minute walk from the hotel in another street. If that doesn't bother you then this is a perfect room for you. We loved it. But the rest of our group stayed in the hotel.
The other downside was the bar was closed at 10:00pm on a Friday night.
Nearby is an Aldi supermarket and a few other shops.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Ahmad Fon 31/03/2015 08:52Need to put water heater,slippers and to boost up wifi speed for a better stay.others okay as well as english speaking receptionist.the shop nearby is good and the area is safe for walking on day and night.need to book taxi earlier to the required destination

Stephanie Don 03/12/2014 17:58We had a marvelous 9 night stay at The Hotel Albert! The welcome was warm and informative. The hotel is immaculate, friendly, and peaceful. Internet was flawless and the breakfast was complete with excellent service! A memorable stay in Dorsten!
